FX How to bleed Impact

After complete re-sealing and successful leak test. Just one small issue.

How do I bleed this part without ruining the seals again?
I can mount the trigger assembly but not the cocking assembly so I cant load the hammer to fire.
If I try to manually load the hammer spring or tap the hammer to open the valve.....If I try harder I'm afraid I will break something.
Its really shut hard.

The new seal kit has quad-rings for the manometer. So when I unscrew it the ring will just follow the manometer over the thread because of the back pressure and ruin the seal.
Or the quad-ring will follow all the way out until the manometer is fully unscrewed and the ring will be destroyed for sure when it popps.
If I just release the plenum or rear block it will be like popping a 130bar balloon and seals might be ruined. Also the orings will be clipped for sure when passing the transfer holes.

Is it me or is it a trap. Do I need to ruin at least one seal to depressurize ?

It’s been a while since I posted this. The easiest way to completely degas an Impact is to shoot it down to just under the regs set point. Unscrew the bottle and the whole gun will drain. I do it this way because I don’t like playing with a good reg. If it’s solid, quick and doesn’t creep, the last thing I want to do is aggravate it.

I just loosen the gage on the plenum a little bit.
Problem is that they have replaced this seal from a plastic washer to a quad-ring.
The quad ring is sealing all the way out because its soft and the back pressure, it will follow the gauge and shred against the thread.

Anyways this is what I did because it is an easy seal to change. The seal is a bit shredded on the outside now but it will easy keep tight for a couple of more dismounts. Or I will be changing back to the plastic washer. Didnt have any problem with the old washes and have bleed the gun 100times before.

After complete re-assembly its obvious FX in many areas has more to learn about general hydraulics/Pneumatics. The beginner mistakes are many in MK1, Maybe lot of the things are already fixed in Mk3 or MK4 I dont know. Would be interesting to analyze one to se differances

Hi, I didnt dismount it. I re-assembled it. so I didnt want to assemble the whole gun before testing if all sealings were tight.

Are you using fx reg? You can back the reg out and it will leak. Another way is take cover off reg and slowly unscrew it till it bleed. It will be hard since it's under pressure but it will work.
Tried to avoid that because that seal in the cavity is the most difficult of them all to replace.
And when there are no pressure from the bottle to balance the reg. I recon the reg side pressure will push the piston hard against the set screw/ inner screw in reg. And it will be similar to lowering reg setting under pressure.
The piston is plastic in my model.
