Hi John after 2 weeks with the S6 I went back to my S3’s. Especially since in Hft my mag limit of 16x made it a waste. I experienced the same issues you are but I didn’t take the time to learn how to properly range with it

Yes, it’s a thought but as I understand it, pellet weight is very important in the wind equation… so if an arms race, it’s also an ammunition race or a clear understanding of how the wind affects a pellet and barrel combination in relation to the wind

I’ve owned a couple of both huntsman's and wolverines my take is that the huntsman’s have a much gentler shot cycle and ergonomically shoulder better because of weight. The wolverines are hammers, and weigh a bit more but both platforms lack an adjustable cheek piece unless you get a safari...

There thoughts #1 set a nailgun outside near your shooting area #2 it is not illegal to dry fire your pcp and make popping sounds only a problem if you disch a pellet #3 make sure the poop sees and hears a lot of nailgun activity

I was “oblivious” to the wind for 2 years 😳 now I’m totally obsessed with learning this wind game! To date no one has made a gun or pellet combo capable of defeating the wind! If they did people would pay dearly for it!!!

im looking at these two on two different NF models the CF2 on the 2.5 is definitely thicker or easier to my eyes at 16X. i also like the NF Mil-XT

Being as he’s got 2 kids under 5, I imagine he will be good with it beyond when his skills match up with the rifle
