    Anschutz Anschutz LG380

This rifle continues to impress me. Yesterday I made a tiny spot on the target to see if I could still center it in that sight aperture. Here you can see 4 shots through that tiny spot, then 4 more shots in the large stick on spot as I was slowly dialing in the windage to get things more...

    Anschutz Anschutz LG380

I finally got to shoot my (new to me) Anschutz LG380 yesterday. Some tweaking of the diopter and I was ready to go. Here are the first 5 shots at 11.8 meters. I am very pleased with that, especially with my old eyes looking through a diopter sight. I have to do some convincing in my mind...

    N/A Springer bench rest contraptions

It was designed for the sole purpose of measuring the linear recoil on springers. I would doubt it would have been a tool you would want to set up for bench shooting. For that type of use I would have built it a bit differently. Steve

What springer did you shoot today?

It’s sitting at 11.4 right now. After I finished building this one it was setting right at 12fpe, just a touch over depending on pellet type. This weekend I I worked at slowing it down. Super smooth at 11.4. But to your point, 10-11fpe range is ideal. I usually shoot for 11-11.4. Steve

What springer did you shoot today?

Much less jump, probably approaching a 50% reduction in recoil. This makes it easier to maintain POI. Less cocking effort too. Steve

What springer did you shoot today?

TX200 .177 modified with AGT 22mm x 90.4mm stroke. Skirtless piston with phosphor bronze bearings and moly flat faced seal. The rifle also has a magnetic catch installed. Trigger pull at 5.7oz. Such a SWEET shooting rifle! Steve
