A week or so ago we were mid to upper 70's, now its 32, sprinkling rain, this being our third day of rain. Just got a call from the county advising that we may get ice tonight. The way it goes down here in central E Texas we may be in mid 70's again by next week, who knows. It makes it hard to get used to the cold. With the humidity running at 90% right now it's miserable outside. I have been in below zero weather with little or no humidity and prefer that to our wet cold.

Not to bad right now. Had the family out last weekend and about limited out on Northern Pike, Crappie, and Bluegills.How's the ice fishing.

First iced fish of the year. Snowing and -7. Perch were one after another on Waloon and Houghton Lakes. Squirrel hunting was not as good.

boy what does that make me ? house is set @ 74 daytime and 68 at night in the summer and @ 74 / 24 hours in the winter

Meh. Just -40 today.....so slowly warming up. Lol

I had a frightening event yesterday AM 0730, had to take granddaughter to Orthodontist, there was this strange substance on my windshield, it was really hard, had to remember where the control was for putting warm air on the windshield, heck I even forgot the name of it.

beerthief, that makes us southern boys.
We are currently trying to survive a quarter inch of ice just after 15 inches of snow 7 days ago. Lost power for 4 days.
We just are not prepared to deal with this type of weather down here.
Stay warm brother. The yankees can have all that cold. lol

We lucked out on the ice, maybe 1/8" on trees yesterday, no accumulation on the ground, but it has been wet, raining, and high humidity 90% all week and raining since Saturday, and still coming down very lightly. Temps have been in very low 30's just above and occasionally just below freezing. Just plain miserable, but the sun is supposed to come out tomorrow.

Slight misty rain froze on car but not roads , cold 25 to 33 yesterday , 35 today back to 40 Friday 50 Saturday just enough winter for around here

It finally warmed up around here today. It's going to be almost 50 degrees out. I got in my walk and gave the dogs a good run. It's still early so I think I'll pull out a few air guns and get some shooting in.
