Brocock/BRK BRK Ghost new Bullpup stock!

Considering a lot of the wooden stocks I have seen are north of 2lbs, so I think this is no different.

The difference being that you're a net gain with this Form stock. In other words, the gun is functional without it. So it's a pure weight addition. A stock-less action isn't shootable without the stock, be it wood or laminate.

The Form stock is more comparable to putting a 1.5-2# grip on a gun than it is to swapping wood for laminate stock, or vice versa.

Very aesthetically pleasing look though. Makes it much more Alpha Wolf looking.

Even just a little AirMaks Krait Lite looking.
Either way, looks good to me...even with the extra weight. At least the weight is from your chin to your shoulder, not forward.

Yeah I agree, it does pull a bit of looks from the Airmaks Kraig Lite area. And that's not necessarily a bad thing.

I like the look of the stocks, in walnut. However, a good point was made regarding the extra weight. I will stick to the OEM frame because lower weight was one of my main objectives for the Ghost Plus. That stock would be quite easy to make. Very little inletting.
Hmmm, maybe...that's why it doesnt cost a small fortune like may custom stocks !?!

Plus, the "extra" weight is...at the shoulder...NOT out at the "weak", support hand ! Makes a...little...difference.

I like it.

Barbara P (@5Power) posted elsewhere that it's gonna have some serious balance shifting implications. And I agree.

Laminate is usually dense/heavy. And that's a chunk of it.

Just something to consider when considering.

On a different note, crazy how different this new stock option makes the Ghost look!
Mine is due in soon - i will report back soon.
Hoping my experience is different then when I converted my delta wolf to an alpha wolf - bad decision but I like trying new stuff!!! And Form makes great stuff. My hope is the weight shift will make the ghost less tippy with a big scope
