Since I now been filling my pistol to 300 BAR I wanted to take a couple strings today.

EunJin 43gr

870
858
848
837
821
812

JSB 34gr

920
904
901
884
878
868

Love that EunJin string and also love how the EunJin shoot,...at 16 yards offhand open sight I hit golf balls a solid 8 out of 10 times with the misses being a fraction off, several times I go 6 out of 6...Yup really like them EunJin and also they hit real hard.

That woldn't happen to you if you used my crappy 3D loading gate alternative instead:

No bolts needed, no small parts. I wonder why Huben and Ares have chosen those designs with small pins when the easyest and most elegant solution is just hold the thing against the the cilinder itself. ****... I even think 1.5 bucks is ripping people, that why I added the moderator, plus a free download to correct the factory masaligned treads. Seeing that the flawed Ares gate sells at 40 bucks, and the Huben one that is just a 3D print at 25 makes me scratch my head... why people pay that for a piece of plastic? you can even make something better out of junk, no 3d printer needed.

If you don't have acces to a 3D printer, you can just drill a piece of plastic, aluminium or junk molded to cover that incomprehensive gap, and use the same bolt to hold it in place so pellets won't fall of anymore.

Such beauty.
Just today the pin actually fell out of my Ares loading gate while I was reloading in the house.

No doubt less is more, but how much is the shorty going for? (If you don’t mind telling)
not cheap for sure, I was going to buy a Bullpup and keep my pistol as is, but........I really don't want a regulated rifle. then the shorty came around so I rather do that and convert my current pistol to a rifle

If Huben made one I would go for it but they don't so I will turn my Huben pistol into one and get the shorty as a pistol
An unregulated rifle is on my list of “experiments”. I have a 2018 .22 that shoots slugs very well and is currently fitted with a Huma reg. I’m thinking of gutting the stock reg so that it becomes just a tube. Perhaps I’ll bump this up to the next thing on the list.

One aspect I also consider about lets say a Huben rifle/pup unregulated version amongst all the other factors I like is......price,

An unregulated rifle coming from factory should be also cheaper.

Im happy with my Hatsan Blitz Bullpup. Still got my Leshiy 2 rifle as well, which is regulated. And of course my GK1. Other than that I think Im gonna sell most of my other airguns. I have no more need for my Hatsan Sortie and Invader, which were the first 2 airguns I ever bought. Im thinking about selling my Viper as well. It's a neat little plinker, but I see very little reason to take it to the range over the GK1.

The only thing I'll always keep on the side is my springers/gasrams. Always nice to have something to shoot that doesn't require pumps or compressors.

Even more so when you consider that you may need to replace the stock reg with something that works.

Anyway, I’m just curious to see how the K1 performs with no reg.

Yeah by the time you get a pro to take the regulator off the rifle price jumps up to much.

after seeing what the pistol can do unregulated I bet the rifle unregulated would be a complete winner

What case are you using to store your Huben GK1 if you have mounted a red/green dot sight? The provided case is not wide enough with my Holsun green dot sight.
It's kind of deep for one gun, but I like the Pelican Vault V300. It gives me plenty of room for ammo tins and a moderator. The Pelican Vault V200 will work just as well with the length of the pistol (13+") and room for ammo and moderator.
