N/A Kraford and Lypt… Has anyone received any products from them recently?

I ordered a part from K&L a month ago. They charged my card instantly, but it still hasn’t shipped. I started contacting them about two weeks ago to make sure my order didn’t fall off the radar. Still no replies to three emails and a couple voicemails. Has anyone else received anything from them recently? I’m worried they went out of business. I thought about going through my bank for a charge back, but I don’t want to do that if they are going to send my order eventually.

Same Old Song and Dance... Love the products when you can actually get them. Recently experienced the same situation. What was it you ordered?

It was an Impact Gravity Rail. Some items on the website were listed as “sold out”, so that made me think the gravity rail was in stock. I now wonder if “sold out” really means they don’t make those products anymore, and everything else that appears to be in stock, isn’t actually started until the order is placed.

Thanks everyone! It’s good to know this is just business as usual for them, and I should get my rail eventually. I don’t mind waiting a long time for quality parts, but I think K&L needs to communicate with their customers to set expectations. I think in the future I will try to order their products through retailers, and verify they are in stock first.

Here is my only experience with Kraford & Lypt
In mid-October of this year I responded to a European member of AGN
He was looking for someone here in the USA to make contact with K&L about an order he had placed/paid for in early September
K&L specifically tells non-US buyers to email, and not to phone
And the buyer's emails had gone unanswered
I volunteered to be the nudge man and began calling K&L regularly
In a 5-week period I left voice mails clearly stating why I was calling and actually spoke to Stephen twice.
Each time he stated that there were delays in his supply chain, and would call me back with further info
The calls did not happen.
So, after waiting awhile, I nudged again, and Stephen actually called me.
He again referred once more to supply chain delays, but said the item would be shipped shortly.
He also then contacted the buyer via email and gave him a USPS tracking number
Surprising, as the buyer had paid for UPS shipping, but at least it was a hint of good news
That was on 12/6
As of today (12/19) the USPS tracking shows nothing other than that a Tracking Number had been created in Arlington, WA
Lots of thoughts here, but without making assumptions or value judgement that's my story
Take it as you will

Thanks for the heads up Edward! I think the same sort of thing may be happening to me right now. Last night I got a notification from the shop app that a UPS tracking label was created, so I thought that was a good sign my order was about to ship. However, I checked my order status closer after reading your story. Now it says “carrier change to USPS with tracking number xxxxxx”. So at the moment, my order has two tracking numbers for UPS and USPS, and both still say “awaiting package”. I paid extra for UPS shipping. This is very confusing… not sure what’s going on. I’ll update once my order actually ships.

I guess it was well over a year ago when I ordered a bag rider and butt stock for my RTI. My order shipped quickly but arrived with screws for the bag rider were too short. They are just screws so I scrounged around found what I needed, but contacted K&L anyway to let them know of the mistake and maybe prefent the same happening to another persons order..
I got a quick response and an offer to send me the correct allen head screws. I declined since I had already resolved my issue.

I guess things have declined at K&L since then, and thats a shame. They make a quality product.

Going on 2.5 months here I was able to get a response from Steve on the chat function from their website

They are a small show with good products but horrible customer service and communication. Pretty sure they they mine the minerals from the earth, then make the steel and then machine it to whatever the customer ordered.

K&L please do the hobby a plus one and just stop….go away…I mean really enough is enough.

Or hire competent staff to return calls and track such issues, sigh….
