You don’t “tune” the GK1.

My GK1 being an UNregulated version, 'tuning' involves adjusting the power-level to the fill pressure you're going to be filling to. Otherwise the power-band/shot-counts will suffer. As demonstrated in my testing notes-

18.1gr FX, tuned for 250 BAR fill, 19 shot p-band = 842 / 887 / 45 / 14 / 863 / 30.0

18.1gr FX, tuned for 310 BAR fill, 23 shot p-band = 912 / 942 / 30 / 10 / 930/34.8

21.53gr JTS, 250 BAR fill, 19 shot powerband= 791 / 850 / 59 / 14 / 27/32.7

21.53gr JTS, 250 BAR fill, best 15 shots of the powerband = 821 / 850 / /29 / 10 / 834 / 33.3

21.53gr JTS, 315 BAR fill, 21 shot powerband= 870 / 894 / 24 / 6.3 / 882 / 38.1

lol….Keep on tuning😎
(they are all unregulated)

What would you call monkeying unregulated PCPs to find the optimum charge pressure to return the best powerband?

Have regulated GK1s not become reality yet? I've heard they were coming out for months now, and this is on Huben's website right now-

That isn't a Huben factory product but a conversion made by a shop, that isn't Huben website either.

You don’t “tune” the GK1.
You can turn the power either up or down.
Simple as that.

I suppose some might consider 'tune' a relative term. I disagree.

Yes, you increase and decrease the power on GK-1s with a SIMPLE turn of an Allen screw. However, more than minor power adjustments affect, and are affected by, charge-pressure; which "in turn" affect the resultant bell-curve, power-band, and shot count. So if One doesn't care about bell-curve, power-band, and shot count, One indeed doesn't "tune" One's GK-1. Rather, one simply turns the power screw.

However, should One be interested in enjoying the best shot-count per any given charge-pressure within One's acceptable bell-curve (extreme velocity spread), One TUNES the gun for that (shot-count within One's acceptable bell-curve) by adjusting power, TESTING, re-adjusting, and testing again, until One finds One's power-level/charge-pressure/bell-curve/shot-count performance SWEET-SPOT.

In other words, as in tuning many/most machines for maximum performance, including other PCPs, through TUNING.
