Selling asking buyer to pay pp fees.

There is no guarantee for either party, If I want to buy or sell here or anywhere else, I look at the persons reputation, call them on the phone, have a conversation with them to get a feeling of them and then make my decision to proceed or not. So far that has served me well. If you dont like the way Im selling it don't buy it. I'm not a big fan of PP either way as I feel they gone woke.

If your not interested in paying the fee, and you don’t trust Friends and Family then maybe that product isn’t for you.

Using friends and family is no different than sending a check or using another form of USPS money order there is never a guarantee that you will receive anything. It the sell has good reviews then you don’t have anything to worry about.

And if your worrying about the transaction then that is your problem, so you can pay the fee.
Actually if I pay with a check and they cash it. I have legal recourse to get my money back.
If I pay with a Postal Money order. And they cash it. I have legal recourse to get my money back.
F&F I have no legal recourse.

Is that plain enough English?

You can twist it 6 ways from Sunday and it doesn’t change the facts. Using F&F puts 100% of the risk on the buyer.

Why don’t you try being the one with no recourse if the deal goes bad? Why do you think the buyer needs to assume all the risk?

And this type of attitude is why I personally just keep scrolling when I see a for sale add that say F&F only.
That’s easy, I don’t do business with those I don’t trust. I check their feedback, I check what they’ve posted, I’ll talk on the phone. If something doesn’t seem right, I walk away.

pay pal wont allow you to sell or buy anything with the word (GUN) attached to it.
Odd. eBay has a ton of auctions for things listed as gun, rifle, pistol. And I’m quite confident I can pay with PayPal.

If you list an item for example $2000. And then ask the buyer to pay the fees or they won't ship it till you do, that is force. Sure they not putting a gun to your face. But telling someone to do this or they not gonna send the item is being force. Either I pay the fee or im not getting my item even though I paid asking price. That is force. Force doesn't necessarily means they pin you to the ground and tell you to eat sht or die. Lol
since it is a PP rule that he is breaking PP should refund your payment and kick him out of PP .

Actually if you set up a bill of sale and have a transaction between both parties with one selling and one paying you have the same legal option to pursue property not provided.

Just like if they cashed your check there sweetheart.

So if you don’t like paying fees then don’t, let it go child it’s as easy as that.

I think you are missing the point. It is against the rule aka against TOS terms of service for seller to ask buyers to pay any fees. It's not about like paying fees or not. We don't like paying taxes but we do cause that is the rules. Same with paypal. Seller pays fees. Simple as that. People are too closed minded they only see one path. Lmao. If rules is, either seller or buyers pay fees I would see seller asking buyers to pay fee. But NO. Sellers pay fee. Not buyers. Read freaking TOS. God dammit lmao

Let’s just agree to disagree, i understand the rules of pay pal says the seller pays fees. So in future listings in which pay pal is offered for payment, you would like the seller to list one price for freinds and family, and another price that is 3.5% higher and specifically mention the higher price is for pay pal regular payments, accomplishing the need to not ask the buyer to pay the fee, then the verbiage will be removed from the listing in which all rules will be addressed.

There you have it AGN 2 prices one for leaded and one for regular.

Now let’s get down to the real topic here.

Who and I mean who took the cookies from the cookie jar???????????????

Actually seller asking buyer to use friends and family to avoid fees is also against the rule TOS. If you are selling goods, you MUST use goods and services. Thats in the freaking name lol. Friends and family is use to send grandma some cash to buy eggs. Lmao. Please read TOS b4 using PayPal. Not hard.

What I want to see a change is. Seller putting price on an item. He is asking $1000. So that is what buyer should pay. Seller will then pay the fee. But 90% of ads on classified, Seller always ask buyer to pay fees or use friends and family. Then get fk when sellers don't send anything lol. I will NEVER use friends and family for a stranger. So don't even bother asking to pay with friends and family. Smh
