I bait sparrows year round, I buy a 50 lb bag of chicken scratch and put it in all my feeders , 50 lbs last a month or two, Early AM its fast shooting 15 to 30 sparrows in an hour or so mosty the females , Then about an hour before dark late PM the males come in same thing 15 to 30 in an hour sometimes more sometimes less. You can keep this up two or three time a week, Then you have to let them rest for a month or two, I have wiped them out a time or too there like rats takes a little time to come back, I do have lots of good birds song birds and doves, I do shoot the Euro doves or ring necks as some people call them.
This is my PM shoot with my RTI 177 shooting Hades at 880 FPS . I rotate my 177 guns shooting sparrows , Uragan. Vulcan, and RTI, The 22 ,25,30, or just to much over kill.

Which one should I buy from all these are very reasonable priced.

I completely understand a squirrel can be killed with .177, .22, .25 and .30. I have personally done it. I know that .35 is overkill. My question is does anyone here use a .35. Head shots only I believe would be no problem. But sometimes I screw up and make a body shot. Just thinking that may be a ruined squirrel. And I definitely clean and eat them. Thoughts?

And if at all possible, I prefer to keep wood in the woods, and furniture in the living room – not on my guns....

Gamo TC35L for sale, fresh back from Gamo. Recived a new barrel assembly and a end cap. Gun holds air as it should. Gun is very tame as far as noise buy make big power and rings steel nicly at 125 yards.
Gamo did the work because of slight clipping at the end cap. 675.00 add 20.00 shipped double boxed.. 1 partial box of pellets and one partial box of slugs with it.

This one is used but I am the first and sole owner. APLR3 MOA reticle. I have an mkm carbon throw ring on the magnification that is easily removed if you wish so. Tiny scratches on the body near the objective bell that appear to be bigger on the pics than they really are. Glass is obviously in perfect condition as the scope has only been used bench shooting. This evening I shot these 3 rifles HW90, HW97 and R9 all in .20 cal.These guns beg for a challenge. They were my last 3 Weihrauchs I bought. The 97 might have 1500-2000 rounds through it. Right from the first shot this gun never let me down.
The R9 followed the same footsteps of the 97. Same amount of rounds. I was using JSB 13.?? Cal. The last out was the 90. What a gun. It was like these three were in a competition. Three winners. I can’t say I know fully what a Gas Ram is but I’m impressed. Can’t wait to try the different bars.
I haven’t customized any stocks yet. One day.
I have to say .20 cal. is my favorite cal. and I have springers in all 5 cal.

Hey guys this is a BRAND NEW unmounted scope that I ordered a few weeks back. The purpose was to put it on my pathfinder but in the meantime I put a red dot and magnifier and couldn't be happier with the combo. This has never had rings around the body all I did was put a battery in and looked through the scope out of curiosity to see the illuminated rericle. By the way Athlon nailed it with this reticle it is super clean and the glass is up there with my Ares. Zero stop and the turrets lock as you got to pop them up to click. Someone is getting a steal of a deal $400 tyd, money order, PayPal friends and family or add the fee for PayPal paying goods and services option.

Is it ok to tether a rifle that uses a fill port? Like a Wildcat MK II.

Honestly I am lost in all the options. I understand that the impact has gone through tons of minor changes that are sometimes not documented in a useful way. I have 2 impact Mk2, I would normally do my own experimentation but I just dealt with a damaged Oring sealing surface @ C39 19790 so id rather not take the gun apart another 10 times.

I am trying to tune one gun in .22 to shoot jsb knockouts and leave power on the table to shoot some heavier stuff.....easy. The other gun in .25 to shoot hades on the low end of the power wheel (16 position m3 wheel) and heavyMk2's on the top end. I have 2 stock hammer springs, a ver1? fx slug kit (heavy hammer spring, light valve return spring, 2 hammer weight washers) and a tungsten hammer.

That's the stuff i have, the goals and the backstory.

Is there a rule of thumb for combinations of springs and hammer weights to allow for hammer spring(power wheel) adjustment range for a given regulator pressure?

My .25 is currently shooting MK2 33.95 @970fps, reg 130 , Power wheel 16, 700mm barrel, power plenum, heavy hammer spring(fx slug kit ver1), stock valve return spring, stock hammer 1 washer weight. Hardly any adjustability on the power wheel. My gut is telling me to increase reg pressure to stiffen up the valve.


edit: Basically i am saying that i have a bunch of FX upgrade parts and trying to get 2 pellets to shoot out of one gun with one tune. I got here with the .25 because i dumped a bunch of parts into it all at once when i upgraded my .22. So i am looking for an explanation of how the springs and hammers relate to each other at different regulator pressures. At one point in time Ted was preaching higher reg pressure to use a shorter burst of higher pressure to get more controllable results. This can't apply with different setups..

I was out shooting my EVOL 30 yesterday. Zeroed it at 50 yards and streched it out to 100. Was grouping really good once i figured out my shooting bag. I took it out to 200 and couldn't figure it out. Im a new shooter so i was just wasting ammo. I decided to bring it back to 100 so i can fine tune my shooting technique. Pulled the trigger and noticed the slugs flying high to the left. I wasnt sure what was going on so brought it back to 50 and sure enough high to the left. I did however pick my rifle up by the scope at least once yesterday. Did the rifle lose its level or am i having barrel issues? How can i figure this out?

My condor ss in 25 cal. ... still dead on sense last session. These guns are great tools and awsome for hunting .

Should a neophyte want to establish THE "best practice" routine for caring for their first pcp and its accouter-mental accessories...is there a bible available? Surely one exists, but I'm not finding it.

I have a new Air Venturi Avenger (predictable; I know) and the manual has a couple of stumbling points that I need help clarifying.
1) The manual says that all pcp's like to be stored with some air in them to keep pressure on the seals. The next couple of sentences are about degassing. Is there a problem storing my Avenger with 3000 ish psi in the reservoir?

I'm sure there are many precautions that I absolutely should observe that haven't even occurred to me. There has to be a compilation for blank pages like me. Where can I find it?
