I have decided to sell my vixen long in 22. It shoots great. Very accurate. Excellent condition. I have probably only shot 1 tin of jsb 18gr through it. It is very consistent and accurate at 870 fps. I have a total of 4 air rifles and will be selling 3 of them in separate ads. Just not shooting much anymore because of other hobbies. I will ship anywhere in the US for 1000.00.

What are some good ideas for actively working towards growing the sport?
Do you guys have kid specific events in your areas?

#matchresultsmonday
#believeitornot I didn’t actually shoot a match this weekend… I did however get plenty of #pewpews in with the kids at our local @utahplinksters event This event focuses on providing a positive experience and education of the fundamental #firearm safety rules! We took out some sweet #airguns thanks to @utah_airguns and the kids had a blast shooting all sorts of Halloween related targets provided by @801_saltcity_shooter I’d encourage you to get out with your young ones and share the love also

NLA Out of service SCBA tanks. Sold Pending funds

103316.jpeg

I bought 20 of these for my pesting business here in Michigan from a Fire Department at a "Donation" price of 40 bucks each. Money going back into the purchase of their new 30yr Scott tanks.

These are 45 minute tanks @ 4500 psi
(6.8l size)

These are "Out of Service" tanks. Fill on your home compressor. Last hydro check on most tanks was done in 2018.

I'm using for what I do here, 10 tanks per week. It'll slow down during the winter months. (3 dairy farms and 2 large greenhouse garden centers)

They may not be pretty, but they work.

As with any high pressure air vessel, use at your own risk. These are USED, OUT OF SERVICE!

For what it's worth, I've scoped the inside of the 10 tanks I use, they are clean and showed no signs of corrosion. They were all full at the time I bought them from the Fire Department.

Asking $60 each plus shipping. If you're in Michigan, buying 2 or more, I'm willing to meet you within 50 miles of Williamston. (48895) Or you can come pick up here.
Full disclosure, profit of 20 per tank is donated back to Fire Station. They're a small volunteer station that really needs the help of the community. 😊

If local, and you want me to fill to 4500 psi, add $5 bucks per tank. 😊

These do come with the valves.

Shipping seems to be around 20 bucks +/- a couple depending on actual location.

Thanks much for checking out the listing.

Note***

This is the valve adapter I've been using for the past 8 mos.

Installing 720 Power Plenum on FX Impact MK2 (Pre Power Plenum)

Howdy All,

Looking for advise and things to look out for when installing the new 720 Power Penum on a MK2 (Pre Power Plenum) Impact.

I have read on another thread that guys were having trouble with fitment issues when trying to get the new Plenum Tube to fit in the Frame Housing?

Others have had issues with getting the correct velocity after installing and some say it's the new springs that come with the kit.

The kit I purchase is the while kit made for upgrading the MK1 and MK2. The kit also includes the new Power Block.

Any and All information is much appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

This is the beauty of the Impact...

Hello AGN:

About this time last year, I ordered two new Impact M3's: 1) a 500mm 0.25 in bronze and 2) a 600mm 0.22 in black. I ditched 0.22 pellets a number of years ago and went exclusively to 0.25 because I really only shoot ground squirrels in my yard. But with all the buzz around slugs, I put a 0.22 slug liner in the 600mm and set out to make myself a slugger. After a little bit of tinkering, I got the 0.22 to shoot the NSA 218 24.8g slugs really well. In the process, I put just about every accessory I wanted on each rifle and ended up with the following pair:

Impact Screws Latest2.jpg

The sad news was once I got the 0.22 slugger set it and sighted in, I hardly ever shot it after that. The main reason was that I don't really need slugs for my normal use - but the other big factor was that this black beast weighed a ton and was very cumbersome in this configuration with the fancy butt pad, bigger 580cc bottle, long rail and larger moderator.

This Fall, just as boredom with my current rifles kicks in and I start thinking about buying a new gun like the BRK Ghost, I wanted to see if I could reinvent the 0.22 into something that I'd actually use. After many days of religiously scouring the Classifieds, a few FB messages to DonnyFL and then several more days of tirelessly refreshing all the tracking numbers, I had everything needed for the makeover. Back are the factory buttpad, smaller 300cc bottle and Tatsu LDC. Replaced the scope rail and trigger guard and went with a 0.22 500mm Superior liner setup w/ CF barrel tuner. Twisted a few knobs, turned a couple of dials and I've now got this compact little beauty shooting 0.22 JSB 18.13g pellets at 880fps very accurately with minimal effort. It's quieter, uses less air, costs less for ammo . . . and still plenty strong enough to take out its first squirrel this morning with a one shot DRT kill from about 40yds away. And..it's way lighter and so much easier to maneuver!

So with a few very easy changes, I've converted a little used rifle into one that might be my new go-to backyard gun! It's like I have a new gun and (for now) no longer have the itch to drop $2,000 on a new Ghost. I love the versatility and flexibility of the Impact platform . . . here's what they look like as of today:

Reticle Preference (w pics)

Here are some of the reticles from scopes I am looking at, I like them all (otherwise I wouldn't consider buying the scope) but some I like more than others.

Which of these do YOU like the most and why? (Feel free to post pics of some others I left out)

Below are: Athlon Cronus, Maven RS4, Tract Toric ELR, Sightron (2), Zeiss S3, Valdada Crusader and Nightforce

I favorite of all of these is the Athlon reticle. It is just so clean and easy to look at. I also really like the Valdada, Zeiss and Sightron.

Do you keep your pcp “filled” with air?

My tendency is to refill my guns after I shoot them down to the “need to refill“ level. I have an electric pump and wondering if this is a good idea or irrelevant as I can fill them fairly quickly. I suppose I could put a little back in it just for emergency shots at a starling or crow. Of course the real answer is to get a larger air tank to fill it quickly when needed but I don’t have one of those “yet” . So, is it harder on the gun to keep it filled with air or am I worrying about nothing? I have an FX Impact and Benjamin Marauder.

No Password Recovery Option ???

Hello all,

I cannot seem find an option to recover existing password.
To change your password requires the old password, this makes no sense to me..
If i forget a password in ANY other place that requires one there is an option to do so, via textin or emailing a special code, a special link, or any number of other options.

Maybe i am missing something, if so i would appreciate a Moderator to reach out so i can proceed.

Thanks

NLA FX Royale 500 Benchrest WTS/WTT

Original thread. I was able to trade for the rifle and I thought I would be shooting it more than what I am. Though the rifle has been sitting in my safe and not doing me any good right now. So I am looking at moving it down the line to someone that will use the rifle more than I do. Not really sure on the price, and not really sure on what I would want for a trade. But offer something up and we can talk. Worse I can say is no. Trying to find something fun that I will use a lot of .... and not sure what that is :D

If selling out right, after talking with a few guys in the know as well as a few guys at FX they were saying a fair price for the rifle would be around the $1500 price.

Have been lusting after a Leshiy 2 for some time..... so that is an option ;)

Please consider strengthening your password and turning on 2FA!

I have received confirmation that several of the previously hacked members were reusing weak passwords that were connected to other "known" leaked accounts.

PLEASE CONSIDER STRENGTHENING YOUR PASSWORD AND TURNING ON 2FA.

Use a random password generator such as https://www.avast.com/en-us/random-password-generator

To modify your password click: on your Avatar, the cogwheel symbol, Password & Security.

To turn on 2FA: click: on your Avatar, the cogwheel symbol, Password & Security, choose Two-Step verification. You can select verification via email (less secure) or via an authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator or Miscrosoft Authenticator).

The email verification is almost worthless if a scammer already has access to your email. The 2FA via an Authenticator app works flawlessly and exceptionally well. You only get prompted once a month for the verification code.

*2FA is now optional. If you logged in while 2FA was turned on, and you do not want to use it, simply go to Password & Security and turn it off.
