My Edgun story is no secret, I am not selling a “perfect new rifle”, but everything in this advertisement, the good and bad, is worth much more than the price I am selling.
Before I removed and rebuilt the REPR on this gun, it was tuned by Sean at .3/.4 jets and 170 bar reg pressure, pushing the 44.75 hades at about 920 with a spread of about 10 in 8 shots. However, I wanted it a little more accuracy and to shoot the pellets a little slower. Degassed the gun and lowered regulator pressure to about 140. Then started working regulator back up to 3-5 bar at a time, clearing the plenum slowly with a few shots till I reached 165 bar (looking for speed of 910) and then at 150 bar the 0-ring blew on the end of the piston (no reason why this would happen as I was doing everything correctly, but it did). I think this was the point I decided to no longer own Edgun products, especially after my Edgun West issues. Here is that post for those that are curious.

Decided since I had to take the REPR apart I would replace the Delrin cup, ceramic ball, spring, clean and re-oil the washers and replace all the 0-rings. Other than the outer shell, the REPR is new however with that it does some reg creep after this rebuild, but this will happen till the ceramic ball is seated into the cup after a few hundred rounds. I did very lightly tap the ceramic ball with a punch inside the cup to help seat the ball a little bit and quicken the break in period. This is only slightly as any more pressure could damage the ball. I Leaned this trick from a friend on the forum. It’s not going to fix new regulator creep fully but will help break in happen faster. According to Brian at Edgun west “ALL REPR regs creep till about 200-500 rounds”. Exact quote, FYI.
I am the second owner of this gun. Bought it from CTShooter when I was having issues with my .25 Cal and Edgun West. CTShooter built the gun to sell on AGN and offered it to me, most of the rifle was new. Here is the link to the original sale –
https://www.airgunnation.com/threads/spf-leshiy-2-30-custom-build-450mm-lw-barrel.1255422/ I have added many options since buying from Sean. I have shot about 200 rounds with CTShooter’s tune, even took it hunting in the Sierras last week and got a few chipmunks at 40 yards. Never any issue, gun worked perfectly, till I wanted to change the jets and reg pressure as stated above when I got home. The regulator issue on the rifle has been fixed with new rebuild.
