FX - I applaud your continued product innovation. However, please stop releasing products that are not available until several months after the announcement date. In some cases, they never reach the market and get buried.

I understand you are likely trying to create "Apple-ish" marketing hype and that's fine before the product release. Be prepared to deliver your product a couple of weeks afterward though. I don't want to hear the COVID, hiring, or logistic excuses. We all have them and found solutions to workaround.

Last year after some 30 or so hours I seized the crank arm, replaced the whole piston + cylinder. But noticed a small crack on the aluminum housing (just above that upper rib) probably because of the stress when seized.
It was just a matter of time something to happen.
Here me go now shopping for a new. I think it will be YH again.

Before you answer any or all of my questions (simply refer to the number) — I want to make sure we're all on the same page:

● I only have a CF tank, and I can't drive clear across town to get it refilled (because my town is the size of a country, 10 million+).
Therefore, my average pressure I can put into the gun's airtube is mostly going to be less than 300bar.
➔ Average pressure available in my bottle I'd say is going to be 250bar.


● I'm looking for this tune in .22cal:
• 33-36FPE
• 18.13gr to 18.5gr pellets
• 900 to 950fps MV
• I'll play with slugs as well

Q1 • Extended plenum: By how much would I increase my shot count (ballpark figure)? (this is the Compact Performance version, and I assume 250bar in the bottle)



Q2 • Extended plenum: I am somewhat concerned for a quiet tune — i.e., rather shorter sips of air at higher pressure — than longer gulps of air at lower pressure.
Would the ext. plenum favor that kind of quiet tune — in the Compact Prophet — or does it move me into louder?



Q3 • Extended plenum: Any other advantages or disadvantages of using the ext. plenum?



Q4 • Regulator adjusting: What are the proper steps to change the regulator setting — not to mess things up? (This is my first gun with external adjustment.)



Q5 • Larger bottle: What options are out there to use a larger bottle on the Compact? (price, link?) (The bottle must not hinder the use of a large DFL silencer.)



Q6 • Other advice: Do you have any other recommendations for me?

Made a post yesterday about short stroking my TX200 and today I got the chance to actually test it out without unpredictable wind wreaking havoc. Well, I think I'm going to leave well enough alone here. There was only one questionable shot out of 30 (AND IT WAS #30 OF COURSE!) and even that one was only barely touching the line. I got excited and aimed my crosshairs over the pellet hole instead of the bullseye so that is on me. Anyway, I am super excited to keep seeing what this "new" girl can really do!

First time at the indoor range with my brand new Impact 25 cal 700mm barrel. My set up is as follows for my question. STX barrel set with the slug port open. DonnyFL moderator.

29 gr NSA slugs. Slugs were lightly lubed with WD40 silicone spray the day prior. The chronograph string is as follows after 26 shots at 50 yards.

The group started on the bottom and steadily climbed and basically settled at the top with the raged hole happening at about 940 fps. I’m very new with the impact and very much aware that it’s basically infinitely adjustable and I’m very welcoming of ideas.
I’m very curious as to why the POI changed steadily in a vertical direction while making zero adjustment to the aim point, shooting off an accutac bipod, using a rear bag for support. Is it simply a matter of the gun breaking in? Did the silicone lube potentially cause this?

LCS SK19 in .22 caliber. I bought it from AOA 2 years ago and recently had it sent in and had some internal upgrades done. It's in great condition and have never had a issue with it leaking. It has the 580cc bottle. I installed a barrel band, bought from another member on AGN, that makes installing the barrel back on after cleaning and getting the spacing off the magazine , every time, no problem.I made a bag support so it can be shot off a back bag. It's accurate and fun to shoot, I just am parting with it to buy another air rifle. 1500 and buyer pays shipping to wherever you live on which carrier you choose. My location is Missouri. My ATN scope currently mounted is not included.

Benjamin kratos in very good condition. Changed from 25 caliber to 177 to improve shot count. Gets 120+ shots on a fill from 3000 psi down to 2000 psi. Around 950 fps with cphp pellets on half power adjuster, does 900 or so with 10.65 pellets with the power adjuster open fully.

So I'm trying to learn to tune my wildcat bt by myself but I'm afraid I may have caused damage.

So I was setting my second reg pressure to 150, but was being an idiot and wasn't paying attention to my bottle pressure. So when I refilled the bottle it turns out my 2nd reg was maxed out to atleast 200 bar. I immediately shot out all the air and properly set the second reg. Do you guys think I caused any damage? My gun seems to be working OK right now. Just shooting alittle weak bit I assume that's because I haven't set my hammer tension yet. What do you guys think? I certainly won't be doing that again, lesson learned

This was the first of many RMAC’s that I plan on attending, and I have to say it truly was an experience one would have to see for themselves. I finally decided to quit talking about going and committed myself to being there!
We all throw out tidbits on the forums about this airgun community being awesome, but let me tell you all, I’ve witnessed it first hand. All the people I met, from the movers and shakers in our industry to the famous youtuber’s, and lastly to the newbies like myself, it was an unbelievable experience. Way better than going to Disneyland as a kid, no lie.

In this thread I wanted to give a big shout out to Utah Airguns and the staff that ran it. I was able to catch a few names- Travis, Alex, Jayden, Tanner, all did a great job from being a range master all the way to shuttling people around in golf carts to making sure there was plenty of air for the guns and water to keep the shooters hydrated. They literally made me feel like I was a Frederick Axxelson, Steve from AEAC, or a Cecil from Hatsan.

The registration process was totally well organized, and the way everyone was given ample range time for sight in was great.

I got to meet DonnyFL, the fx staff, the Hatsan team, AEAC Steve, AGN Michael, Cyclops Joe Reah, and famous team shooters like CENTERCUT Mike, Dereck Wall, The Daystate crew, yeah I had a blast.

I didn’t place as high as I would’ve liked but for a first timer I didn’t do bad, especially when just a few months ago I had never shot past 50 yards.

If any of you are the ones that keep saying “someday I’d like to attend”, like I did for years, well, put it in your calendar and start saving up. You won’t regret it!

Oh, and for sure practice! This is not something you want to go into and you just shot a few targets the week before, lol
