Several moths back I had purchased a longer piston rod for my TX with the intent of shortening the stroke some. Today I finally decided to undertake the project and boy howdy am I glad I did. Shot cycle is a bit smoother and I greatly appreciate the new cocking stroke. I was never a huge fan of the *click* *click* *click* so the new single click anti-bear trap is much more appealing to me. The new piston rod is 11mm longer so I BELIEVE that I am closer to an 80mm stroke vs the old 90+ millimeter stroke.

I went through a few springs and setups to get where I am now and ended with a full length 12fpe PG4 kit (was 11.8fpe prior to work) with 3x washers installed to add 3/8" or so of preload. This is putting me at around 10.3fpe at the muzzle using 4.53 JSB 8.44gr. Without washers I was closer to 7.5fpe.

My question to you guys who have done this before, is there a better spring option? Should I open up the transfer port some? I would rather lose the washers to cut down on some piston weight here while still maintaining a nice shot cycle in the 10.5-11.8fpe range. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!

This rifle was the 2012 National Championship Hunter Class Winner. It is super consistent never more than a click or two off 10m zero regardless of conditions, I'm sure that is relative to the McMillan stock. And no I don't have the old original clunker stock. I have been investing in some airguns for fun plinking when camping. I have about a half dozen air guns of different variety from C02 to break barrel. My airguns rang from 350 fps to over 1000. Is there a ballistic calculator or a chart to tell me the bullet drop I can expect at the different fps?

Just wanted to mention that although I was planning on shooting my .25 Delta Wolf with 29 grain NSA at 950 FPS this past weekend, I ended up shooting a .22 Cricket2 Tactical at the PRS event Saturday. I had an issue with the DW, so I asked Larry Piercy from AoA if he had a gun in the van that I could borrow. Larry said sure, you can try the .22 Cricket2 Tactical shooting 25.4 grain Monster RDs. Gorgeous gun with the orange/black laminate stock.

All I can say is WOW! I checked Larry's zero at 25 yards at their AirBnB that the Wolf Pack had rented, then shot a few shots into a 1/2 inch group at 75 yards Friday evening. Good to go! Although I'm not that great at PRS (NRL-22), and shooting pellets in that kind of wind was crazy, I still did pretty well and the gun was flawless. It was the 60 (High Power) version, shooting the JSB Monster RDs at about 890 FPS. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED with the Team Centercut stamp of approval!!!

Thanks to AoA for the loaner, I liked it so much I wanted to keep it... Also thanks to the Daystate Wolf Pack, since Derrick Wall and I went over Friday evening, and Alvaro Lopez was grilling some fat steaks, bacon wrapped shrimp, and baked potatoes on the grill, and we were invited to stay for dinner. AWESOME!!!

As new .20 Mac1 LD 10" barrel optioned with moderator, hangy tank adapter, standard cartridge cap, bulk tanks and pellets.

2 4oz hangy tanks with caps and spare oring. The tanks are used and show scratches and such but are still very serviceable/functional. The LD is as close to new as one could get. I had Tim make me this in 2018 I believe, and I maybe shot 40 pellets from it. I shoot the .22 venom version I have more, so this one didn't see much use.
Also includes custom highly figured American Black walnut grips by Vernon Austin and black original grips. New uninstalled SS bolt knob from Mac1 (not in photos).
4 tins of 500 count JSB diablos. One tin was opened with only a handful shot from it. The other 3 tins are new but no seal. Vintage Bushnell .22 scope 18mm 3-7 bullet drop in mint condition made in Japan. Fits this gun like it was made for it. I will sell without the scope if someone chooses.
