I would like to introduce my two Castillian exchange students who are staying with me for the next few semesters.
Cometa 400 gas ram in .22 cal.
Maria, on the left has been here since late september. Her sister Juanita arrived on Saturday just in time for Maria's birthday!
Maria just turned 15,000 this after noon! I counted up the tins and it's official. It's her quincieñara!
Seriously this rifle has been great. Inexpensive, accurate and durable. I loved it so much I bought another one just like it. It's the perfect hunting and plinking rifle and shoots ALMOST as good as my HW's. I've shot Maria more trouble free shots than any springer I own and she's still kicking out 680 fps. Juanita is spitting them out at 740 with 500 shots under her corset.
I wanted you guys with the fancy walnut stocks and high dollar collectible rifles to gaze upon the beauty of my deluxe plastic stock. Behold the fit of my limbsaver slip on pad. The exquisite lines of the molded cheekpiece. The rich bluing and metal finish. These rifles have got it all and I felt the duty to share their splendor with the group.
They are fairly well balanced. Easy to swing, smooth shooting, hard hitting, good trigger, accurate, and less than half the cost of most other rifles. I honestly can't find anything I don't like about them and I've spent 15,000 shots and 3 months looking.
