I purchased the Epic Two with a Huma raptor already installed. The shot consistency was wild to say the least so I ordered a repair kit for the regulator and waited for it to arrive before digging in. The little plastic disc was installed upside down so I replaced all the o-rings, cleaned everything up and made sure all passages were clear and reinstalled the reg with the disc the right direction hoping that was the issue. Well the shot string aren't as wild but I noticed that the refresh rate was way too long so I decided to time them using the digital gauge I installed.
Over a 50 shot string, the refresh rate starts at 12 seconds and finished over 2 minutes to refresh to set pressure as the psi diminishes in the main tube.
From a 300 bar until approaching the reg setting of 125 bar I timed the shots refresh times get longer and longer as the pressure in the tube dropped.
I took the regulator apart just to see if anything else could have been missed and couldn't. Cleaned, silicone and back together to have the same issue.
Huma has been contacted but is wanting to direct me to the vendor since they installed it but it has to be this regulator in my opinion.
Any experts out there have a clue what the issue with refresh time?
It doesn't seem to creep past the set pressure but as I shoot it just takes a very long time and if out shooting I would just have to time my shots and be there all day long to get anything done.

When recently installing a new bottle o-ring on my RAW HM1000x, I was concerned about damaging the o-ring when rolling over the sharp threads.

I used an old Harley Davidson trick of applying a couple of wraps of Teflon sealing tape over the threads. Lightly lubed the o-ring and slid it on. Works just fine.

In FT. Is there any benefit to setting zero at 40 or 45 yards instead of 25-27 yards?

New guy on the forum here. Excited for my new panthera that should be shipped later this week. I modeled my build and accessories after this guy on youtube. He seemed to know what he was talking about with a lot of no nonsense info and remarkable accuracy in another of his videos. I chose to spend my money on a 30 cal Panthera 700 instead of the 6.5 creedmore AR I’ve been wanting because I can shoot it in the neighborhood whenever I have a few hours to spare. Very nice immaculate FX Crown tuned to 910 fps or so with 18.13 and will easily shoot a ragged one hole at 60 yards. Has a Vortex 6 to 24 scope and Sportsmatch rings. Another goofy experiment. Added a K1 plenum and Huma reg to the GK1, to make the .22 “longey” GK1 carbine or GK1/K1 hybrid, if you prefer. Awaiting the arrival of the moderator, which will extend 2” beyond the tube. Shooting AVS 22 grain slugs at 925 with ES of 8 at 150bar reg pressure. Waiting on the mod to fully evaluate accuracy.



Will likely remove the CF wrap from the tube for a more consistent look if happy with the end result. Action end fill port is disabled and gauge reads reg pressure.

I'm questioning the wisdom of a FFP scope in my applications of using the scope for HFT. I have an Athlon Midas tac 6-24x50 model number 213075 with the APRS2 reticle. The glass is very clear and it ranges well. But the reticle is too small at 16x and I lose the markings on the reticle in lower light conditions. I have a nightforce 6-32 FFP and at 16x it's ok but the reticle is on the small side as well.
Anyone have good experience with any of the other reticles for the Midas Tac that are clear at 16X?
I also have a Sightron S-TAC 4-20 SFP that works really well withMOA-2 reticle. Wondering if buying an S-TAC 4-20 FFP set at 16x would give me a better reticle view since its at the higher magnification of the scope range?

has anyone used this power adjuster on his dreamline lite and was it worth it?

i know it says dreamline tactical which i don't have but maybe it fits the lite version- any thoughts on that?

i ask because I'm buying few things from huma and thought i could buy it too since its not that expensive and i am already paying the shipping.

I've got an FX Impact M3 and deleted the first reg with the Huma Air kit and have the high pressure Huma Air second reg.

Things are going great but I have a 700cc 300 bar bottle installed and I've only been filling it to 250 bar.

Would it be ok to fill it to 300 bar? I've read here somewhere that Huma said the reg itself can take it no problem but I'm interested in if the rest of the air rifle can.

The extra shot count would be great if so.

I never caught Covid (knock on wood), but I caught springer fever this year and I’m still battling it. Is there a vaccine available?? This is the result of the affliction….I hope I don’t catch something else in 2025!! First was an HW50s in .22, then it was a. HW95n in .22, followed by an HW30s in .177, and finally an HW30 Classic in .20…..there’s still an HW50s in .20 on order. I’m begging other members for help….is there a cure??

Gun has been super reliable and accurate for me. Has superior liner installed bit factory liner is included. I'm kind of intrigued by the Leshiy classic, so maybe I'd jump on the occasion if I find a pre-owned one. However it's difficult to find information about the power at which a 250mm or a 350mm can reasonably shoot? I mean: what power can a classic develop when tuned for power, without sacrificing accuracy? I'm not looking for bragging rights nor maximum power, but I generally prefer to shoot my pellets rather fast.
