Scope was mounted on my RTI Prophet prairie dog rifle and for the foreseeable future, I’m going to have to put that fun on the back burner.
Gun/scope was always kept in a hard case. I replaced the front flip up cover with a Butler Creek as the factory covers’ spring broke.

These groundhogs were having a field day while I was away on vacation, so I had to do further corrections on their oxygen intake. I modified the first on by performing a rhinoplasty to remove any obstructions to his frontal lobe. The second one I relieved pressure on his diaphragm so his lungs wouldn't have to constantly expand and contract.

I think they feel a lot better now! 27 groundhogs down this year in a one block radius is a serious infestation.

Had a real nice day out at the range with fellow AGN member 'dennisu'. We shot some 25M benchrest practice followed by blasting wine corks at 100. Dennis shoots a Dreamline Tactical in 22 and I am shooting my Taipan Veteran standard also in 22. We are both shooting 18.1 grain pellets. New here..

I'm struggling to tune my FX M3.
I'm using the Jsb KO 25.39g but doesn't seem to matter what speed I'm sending the slug the grouping is all over the place with flyers. Im new to tuning the impacts so I want to say the problem is my lack of knowledge any recommendations?

Always been curious about this - even with the high prices of let's just say 115g 9mm @ $0.25/round, 100-200g slugs are $0.50/rd or more. I don't get it when it's just lead, no primer, no powder, no case.

The PCP I am trying to fill came empty and a a probe.

I ONLY have a hand-pump. I will not get any fill tanks or compressors, not at least now. Please keep the thread, not about buying a compressor because there are plenty of those already.

- I've tested the pump by supplied screw-on plug. When I plug the tip, the pump gauge goes up to 3000 psi.

- I COCKED the gun. Put the fill probe in. And when I pump the air, i hear and feel the air leaking from where the probe meets the fill hole.

Would anyone know what the issue is?

For sale BSA Gold Star SE Union Jack special edition .177. This rifle was specifically made for Hunter Field Target in England. Custom Minnelli stock in a beautiful red,white and blue laminate that has an adjustable hamster,cheek riser, and length of pull. BSA's exclusive cold hammer forged barrel which I can put 5 shot groups inside a dime at 55yds off a bucket and sticks with JSB 10.3 grn pellets. This rifle has a after market HUMA regulator and is shooting the JSB 10.3 at 895fps for approximately 30 shots at a 232bar fill. Also has a HUMA shroud and is very backyard friendly. Nice rifle if your a FT shooter or like cool laminate stocks. Rifle is in excellent condition with 2 small pressure marks on stock as the only visible flaws.

Here she is! Just picked it up today and spent some time with it after the kids went to bed. I have yet to shoot a pellet, mostly just was getting familiar with it, scoped and stock adjusted to my liking. So, this will mostly be a photo dump, with a few initial thoughts.

Nice to have breakfast with my (2) friends. (1) is the fx 400 and the other is it's big brother fx 500. The 500 I installed the Huggett barrel shroud, which made it considerably shorter and very quiet, not quite mouse fart but neighbor friendly.

Green soft touch stock. Has a mark in the stock on cheek riser. Shoots great. Holds air, great trigger. Comes suppressor and adapter to go from 10mm to 1/2unf & comes with 1 clip and a tin of 14.13gr JSB pellets and a hard case.

Any Vet mechanics currently online? I am attempting to do an O-ring change on a friend‘s veteran, so far pretty good. But I am having trouble getting the circled part separated from the block. I realize that there is a set screw in the house in which I have loosened but it still won’t budge. Any suggestions please?

The gun has an air leak, anything over 100 bar, the air starts leaking. air stabilizes at about 100 bar. I have pulled the regulator and replace the O-rings in that, but that did not seem to work, so I suspect my part circled in red

The big attraction for these guns is of course cost. They also shoot very well when there are are no faults, but quality control has often been poor. I can live with the QC issue if replacement parts were promptly available, but it appears these parts are not available at all. Does anyone know how to order spares for these guns? If so, how prompt is the service?

Does anyone have any good suggestions for an awesome piece of glass that is like a 2-16 or 3-16 ffp?

Looking for a piece for a new toy coming in.. I do like my 3-12 vector but I am thinking I want something more. Going to be a 25 to 100 yard rifle.

My first pcp, a Stoeger bull pup which is a Snowpeak P 35 in a different stock. I thought I might try the moderator on my Diana Chaser on the bull pup but it would require a smaller adaptor. Both rifles are in .22 caliber. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Since wind was nearly zero and I had a new scope to zero, I decided to zero at 25 yards so my RAW would be set for indoor matches this winter. The new scope is a Sightron Competition 45x45 with ED glass. Sure makes the bull look big at 25 yards!


Top of left-hand target is my sighters. Trying to get used to 1/8 moa clicks at 25.

Works way better than my 1st hd ATN gen1 did, I mean WAY better. Works great very clean, sunshade, eyecup and soft case. You will need an SD card if going that route.
