New Benjamin Marauder arrived yesterday. Pumped to 3,000 PSI. Overnight leaked down to 2,000 PSI. Is this normal?

Been informed that my current range at brookhaven has closed the airgun part. Partly because some dumbass or two were shooting full ketchup bottles, plus some littering. Mostly, because they felt not enough money was being generated- that I can believe. Same for the occasional jack-ass shooting bottles or whatever. Only other 100 yard range is calverton- which I hear is like the wild west, I would have to shoot next to firearm rifle shooters. Are there any fun to use ranges just north of westchester, NY? say within 90 minutes of Throgs neck bridge? 2 hours tops?

Pickes this up when they came out.. thought I'd like it but I don't really care for it.. nice shooting gun just not for me it will come with a $45 adapter from donnyfl and 2 mags and o-rings also in original box.. looking to trade.. not interested in anything .177 or $250 PayPal

I just want to say right up front. My Prophet 2 shoot’s spectacular. So on that note:
A quick story about this old German auto mechanic. I met this gentleman a short time ago. He was an old mechanic that once worked on the Volkswagen assembly line. He latter moved to America and opened an automobile repair shop specializing in German vehicles. He had an opinion about German cars. He said they have two problems, “1st: they’re ugly, 2nd: they last too long.”
I can’t help to apply this in many other areas of my life.
I love to shoot my Prophet 2, but I have to be honest, I don’t find it attractive. But I love tinkering with it. I find with its low number of O-rings and its simplicity. It’s very easy to want to make changes and design new ideas. Things like the trigger, cheek rest, butt rest’s, bag rider, etc.
Next, thing on my list is improving the looks. My Prophet needs some shape. I’ve got a K&L GigE rail that I took off my Impact. Just on a whim I held it up to my Prophet. It had potential to look good. So I removed the scope and the rail and mocked it up.
Yep, improvement!
My plan is machine an adapter plate so I can mount this on my gun. I’d love to see K&L build this! But for now I guess I’ll have to make it.

Hey guys I have a Leishy2 that is only a few months old that I am letting go. It has a .30 and .22...250mm barrel. It has the behemoth quick detach moderator on it as well as a Huma regulator that replaced the reaper reg it came with. Also has the bigger 300cc cf tank and comes with the factory cylinder tank as well. Only shot 1 tin of .30 pellets through it and is in pristine condition. As some of you may know I am a field target shooter and know this will get zero use once spring hits...just not my thing. I have all the paperwork and boxes and other than adjusting the regulator for desired speed have never messed with any pucks etc.Scope not included unless me negotiate price with it! Just got my new Uragan 2 600 from Krale today. Swapped the side lever over and went to fill it (it arrived empty). Air was coming out of the barrel. I took it apart somewhat and yep, air coming up through the transfer port. Obviously a valve problem. Have any of you U2 owners come across this?…….and yes, I did try filling with the gun cocked, same problem.

Looking at the Uragan 2 as a future acquisition in 25 cal. I'm one of those dual use guys. pellets and slugs. question is can the 600mm version of this gun provide sufficient power to shoot slugs properly without adjusting the hell out of it. Secondly, how easy is it to adjust power with this platform? or access the reg? I've heard it's more effort than the Vulcan 3.

I had few minutes before sunset today to shoot. Set up a target at 30 yards and one at 100, took one shot at 30 to check my zero, then picked a spot on the 100 yard target to see what the wind was doing. I thought what the heck and shot four more. It looked pretty good from the bench, so I shot a few more. I had a great four shot group then got a high flier that opened it way up. I shot one more and that one dropped right in. I suppose if I sorted for weight I might do better but I'm ok with this one

Condition is 100%…I didn‘t shoot it much. Shot .177 slugs which was a lot of fun. The barrel is slug friendly. Unfortunately, I no longer have space. If you’re looking to try .177 slugs or, then a lothar Walther barrel is the way to go. It’s also a viable option for hunting in a backyard on the lowest power setting…deadly quiet. Recently got my first pcp. .22 origin. Before I shot it. I took it apart completely. Cleaned and oil it up. Shoot’s fantastic. 1 3/4 turns off the hammer spring with fx 15.89. A ragged whole at 50 yards and a 3 inch group at 100. Have about 700 shots through it. I’m good with that. It’s for hunting. I can’t see myself spending 1k for an airgun. Looking at AEA in .25. Something easier to carry in the woods. I’ve read that with the AEA you may have to do some work yourself and that’s not a problem. HP Varment? Hp Carbine? Need help please?

Well … take that with a grain-o-salt. My buddy and I have been hunting a large industrialized dairy farm permission for several years trying to reduce the pigeon population. We’ve shot over 6,000 pigeons there. The owner was so sick of the birds he went to great expense to enclose all of the four 1/4 mile long barns in hopes to get rid of the nasty birds. Initially it worked and we lost that permission for 2 years. Last week my buddy received word that the owner asked us to come back as the pigeons had returned.

We expected there to be only a few pigeons there but once we got inside the first barn there were thousands of them. More than we had ever seen. Previously the barns had steel roofing and we could shoot birds about anywhere but during the enclosure project they replaced all of the steel roofing with fiberglass roofing. So, that really changed our shooting challenges. The barns have steel framework so we could only take aim where the birds were in front of a steel back stop. We didn’t want to get blamed for poking holes in the new $850,000 roofing!

We we’re in the barns by 9:30 am today and within 3 hours we dropped 306 pigeons between the two of us, which bested our previous record of 190 birds. So, yes, it’s a new world record … (in our small part of the world) … for us

Sometime this year*eyeballs my bday in calendar* I want to take the smallest step/plunge into the rabbit hole of pcp airguns. Enough research tells me that a pistol amd a handpump would be my best starting point.
Now ive run across what should I get to pump up?

Just acquired this HW55S. Earlier 13mm dovetail model. This gun appears to be ”new old stock”. Looks like it just came out of the box. Being a lefty I’m happy to have a ambidextrous 55 back in my life. Not a Beeman import. Probably before Beeman. It originally came from ARH. I think it has a nice color for a Beechwood stock.

Has anyone else noticed the state of pellets these days is on par with brands like gamo and daisy??
The majority of pellets (different manufacturers, different calibers, different weights) have Al been crap. Whether it’s bent skirt, damaged pellets, or weight discrepancies, there’s some real issues with them. Ive noticed my accuracy diminishing substantially, and I’m reserved about taking shots at pests past 30yds in worry that the pellet I’m shootings won’t hit its target.
Am I the only one having theee problems?
Has anyone notified them improving as of recent? I’m very skeptical about spending my money on ammo right now, bc I don’t want to be wasting it on crappy pellets. I’m very close to moving to the dark side and exclusively shoot slugs just for better consistency.
