Hello AGN,

I'm looking to sell an FX Impact M3 Standard 0.22 600mm in black w/ FX high capacity Side-Shot magazine, FX moderator, Magpul MOE-K2+ grip, stainless steel bolts installed, FX extended foster fitting, and factory FX hard case. This is the latest iteration of the M3 with the Power Block and front barrel clamp; the barrel has dual transfer ports (P for pellets & S for slugs) and has the latest STX Superior pellet liner inside. This awesome rifle is currently set up to shoot 18.13g JSB's at 915-920fps with great consistency and accuracy. First reg is set to 150 bar, second reg at 100bar, power wheel is at 8, Quick Tune adjuster is at 3, and valve adjust is at about 3.5 bars - at this setting, the rifle is very quiet with the included factory FX moderator. It also comes with a complete set of stainless steel bolts already installed (with anti-seize compound applied); these bolts not only look better - they'll wear better over time as they will not rust. All of the original black screws will be included as well if you want to reinstall those instead.

This rifle is in excellent condition, holds air perfectly and shoots extremely well. This was my personal rifle for the last year or so and it has served me very well whenever I needed it. It wasn't shot much but was always reliable and accurate whenever a ground squirrel popped up in the backyard. The left and right side plates by the butt stock and shroud have been wrapped in an automotive grade carbon fiber wrap (the rear plates were previously cerakoted in a distressed red/black color). The original grip was upgraded to the Magpul beavertail AR grip in stealth gray. The only thing to point out on this rifle is that the tiny little factory FX grub screw that holds the pellet probe in the carrier is stripped. FX loctites this tiny little grub screw at the factory so it's very difficult to remove without stripping the screw so if you plan on replacing the pellet probe or doing a barrel caliber change, you'll need to figure out how to get this stripped screw out before doing so. Other than that, this rifle is rock solid and ready to go! The only reason I'm selling this rifle is because my M4 finally arrived.

I just finished another airgun tote. This one will be designed to carry TWO airguns instead of one airgun and a set of shooting sticks. Below you can see a Taipan Vet 2 and a BRK Ghost Plus in the tote.

• 100% kiln dried Sassafras because it has interesting grain and more importantly, is much lighter weight than most hardwoods.
• Inlaid strip of Peruvian walnut through the middle of all the pieces.
• 6MM thick leather protects the air rifle and shooting sticks.
• 1/2" polly rope (brown) looks nice and simplifies the attachment process.

I recently purchased a Bulldog M257. Like all my other rifles, I did the initial zero at 50yds. Considering the longer range capabilities of this rifle, would it be better to zero at 100yds to reduce the amount of holdover needed downrange, and figure in the hold under for closer range?

I decided to trade a 35 fpe .22 Cal and a .357 Cal to buy a powerful .22 (60-65 fpe).

After A LOT of analysis, I decided for the DRS in 600 mm and with the super powerful plenum and high picatinny rail.

This rifle should give the alternative of shooting accurately slugs at different levels of power.

Length of 41', not so long...... Super light weight.

Only time will tell if this was or was not a good decision....

It will take some time for me to receive it.

Once I have it in hand and after shooting with it, I will share my experience.

Recently purchased a .177 caliber, Daystate Revere (non-regulated) Airgun from AOA on their Black Friday sale.

Always wanted to own one for their looks, light weight and accuracy.

I likely will tune it shortly after receiving … to get between 18-22 FPE, while installing a regulator, LDC and hopefully a SSG.

I‘m also assuming it will be a Huma regulator with a 12/15 cc plenum at about 120 bar set-point. Hopefully, I can keep the plenum relatively small and bump the pressure up to 120 bar to save airspace. I think I’ll try JSB 10.34 or 13.43 grain pellets first to see whats achievable. This will not be a POWER gun, but a sweet pinker giving me about 75 shots per fill.

Questions:
- Do my tuning estimates seem about right?
- Has anyone created a working SSG for this gun?

Any thoughts or comments are appreciated .

I was able to harvest a spike buck last weekend using a piledriver .50 cal. It was a 15 yard shot and the deer ran about 20 yards. Shot through the lungs and the top of the heart. Not a giant buck, but happy to break the ice on the first season ever of WI airgun big game hunting.
The non exit is seen in the photo. Was using a lighter slug, 250gr. Of the slugs I had on hand they grouped the best. I was able to retrieve the slug just under the skin on the far side. Went through ribs, vitals and one shoulder before stopping just under the skin.

Hi, I managed to strip the threads of the small grub screw that holds the back block In position. I guess I didn’t have it quite lined up with the hole in the receiver when reassembling the gun after a Vortek kit installation .
Does anybody know the size of this grub screw? It’s not listed in the HW 30 parts diagram .

Hello, I just got my JTS Airacuda in the mail. Stoked! It came with 2000 psi in the air tube. Is that normal? Also I fired the rifle and hear a sort of spring sound, assuming that is normal but when I went to refill the rifle with air, I noticed that the foster fitting has definitely been used before. There is also a lot of dust in the threads of the foster fitting cover.

Then upon further inspection. Saw a little bit of rust on the barrell and a scratch on the stock. Also looks like the bolt action has some use as well.

This came from a vendor out east and was supposed to be new. I don't want to say who they are yet as I am going to email them with a question such as, why is it already filled with air. Hoping ya'll can give me some insight. Perhaps this is from factory testing?

You can see the bit of rust right above the threads on the foster fitting cover on the barrel. It's light but there is some. Also look at all the dust in the threads of the foster fitting. Anyways...is this used? Ha. Weird to ask that but again, I have never bought one before.


Then see the part on the gun where the bolt action sits. Definitely looks like it's seen use.

Got 5 this morning

It has been 2 years since I started knocking over metal targets with tiny pellets. It never gets boring. But it can get frustrating. Frustration usually comes in two forms:
A) my inability to read the wind
B) dark colors on faceplates which obscure my ability to see a black reticle. Yes yes illuminated reticles do help.

A) is something I can’t control BUT I can learn from and improve my wind reading abilities and subsequent guesstimates.
But
B) is something WE (clubs)can all control. That said, what’s the point of painting field target faceplates with dark colors? It does nothing to improve our technical shooting skills but it definitely leads to frustration.
I’m thinking that faceplates, as a rule, should be painted white, yellow, light grey, light blue, light green, orange etc.. and the KZ’s a contrasting color.
I suspect these color combinations would speed up field target because it would be much quicker to locate and range a target. Secondly, when a target gets shot up, down line shooters will still have a reasonable chance to see and find the KZ’s.
Looking at the targets pictures below you’ll get the idea.
Also shouldn’t dark colors add to an overall Troyer rating?

Came in today in 3 days flat, Krale is undisputed in shipping.This will be a Xmas gift for a nephew, so I want to make sure it's ready to go. First shots out the box, no barrel clean, no screw check.

The H&N 8's fit pretty tight in the barrel. I bought these to test in my 97K and prosport.

I was expecting a nasty twang, but to my surprise just a very slightest hint of a buzz. More of a twack and sounds solid. It came in late afternoon, so I only had about an hour to mess with it, but I really like this little break barrel, was easy to cock and load and light as a feather compared to my under levers. Might have to get one for myself.


It's been a long time since I tried to sight in iron sights
because I don't use them anymore, because I can't see them..lol. But I did what I could, it was high and slightly right at 20 yards. After cranking on the elevation and windage several times I was close as good as my eyes would see.

I just might slap a Hawke Vantage on it to see what it will really do and find the best pellet for. Don't know if I will take it apart or not yet, haven't decided. But it is fun to shoot so far, I imagine the HW50 would be also. I didn't see any smoke or hear any loud cracks so that's good. Trigger needs a little tweak. But I'll check all this out later.

Epic Air guns shop emailed an announcement saying they had a Black Friday Special going until 11:59 on 11/29. I picked a rifle and put it in the basket but didn't immediately buy as I was still not sure about the barrel I really wanted and was doing last second research.
When I made up my mind, came back a couple of hours later at 8pm EST the price had gone up more then 310 bucks! the gun was still in the basket at the original discounted price and I thought Whew...but when I hit purchase...up the price jumped, at over 310.00...............delete sale
