FX  Make my FX Dreamline compact .22 quiet

I have just received my FX Dreamline compact .22 and am very impressed with the accuracy, BUT, it's noisy.
My use is in a back yard at ranges from 20 to 50 metres max, shoot pesky birds and rabbits, currently have JSB Hades 15.89g

I am in Australia, so no suppressor.

As a total newbie to this and getting confused by the jargon I would be forever grateful if someone can give me a clear set of instructions to get this gun as quiet as is possible in its stock form, no additions or major mods. The front power adjuster is Low, Medium, High, the rear one is numbered from 1 to 23 Regulator pressure is set on 115.

PCP Rifle  NLA Saber Tactical .177 FX Dreamline

.177 FX Dreamline with Saber Tactical chassis. FX DonnyFL moderator. This gun has the picatinny rail, hammer spring adjuster and flip safety. I'll include all original items included with the rifle plus a CARM flip out single shot loader. The original mag has not been used as I single load everything I shoot. This gun is a shooter and in excellent condition. I haven't made any internal adjustments. I did drill a hole in the stock to access the regulator adjuster without removing the chassis. Never touched it after the initial tune. It's shooting extremely well with JSB 10.34 pellets at 870 fps.
Scope, wheel and mounts not included.
I'll ship to lower 48 for $1075.00.
I'd take $985.00 and deliver to a hundred mile radius of OKC to avoid shipping.

WALLINGFORD, CT — A coyote that interacted with a person in Wallingford on Tuesday has tested positive for the rabies virus, according to the Wallingford Animal Control.
The incident happened on Main Street in the area of United Concrete, according to a post on the animal control’s Facebook page.
WTNH News 8 reports a United Concrete employee was bitten by the coyote as he was arriving to work.

The coyote had been trying to attack employees on fork lifts and trucks, according to WTNH.

Read more from the Wallingford Animal Control below:
Here are some important facts:

-The rabies virus is a fatal disease that affects mammals.
- It is spread through the saliva of an infected animal through a bite or scratch. It can also be transmitted if infected saliva makes contact with the eyes, mouth, nostrils, or an open wound.

-In Connecticut, the most common species to contract the virus are raccoons, skunks, foxes, coyotes, and bats. While bobcats can also spread the virus, they rarely get infected, and aren't considered a primary vector species here.
It can also infect unvaccinated cats and dogs.

-Symptoms of the virus include unusual vocalizations, unusual aggression or lack of fear of humans, movements such as circling, staggering (appearing "drunk"), or even partial paralysis.

Also present can be (but not always) the classic "foaming of the mouth" caused as paralysis sets in and the animal can no longer swallow.

What can you do?

-Make sure your pets are vaccinated (as required by law).
-Keep your pets indoors.

- Avoid feeding wild animals, intentionally and unintentionally (think securing garbage cans).

-Report any wild animal that is acting sick to us.

-CT Deep has a Wildlife Division that can handle general questions (860-424-3011).

-CT DEEP has an emergency dispatch number (860-424-3333) if an animal is posing a direct threat. The Police Department can also be contacted in urgent situations.
Please call CT DEEP for coyotes and bobcats that are acting sick, we do not have the means to handle these species.

For more information, visit the Connecticut DEEP’s website here.

No more turbo lag with the m4 .25

as some of you know after roughly 200 shots i noticed the first few shots were not up to speed.
i read about it so i was prepped if the m4 would have a impact legacy. it does. well did.
talked o many people who has owned fx guns over a 4–5-year period for some.

watched many vids but very few tell much a few. one guy I think his first name is Ernest rowe?
seems to know the guns well.
upon taking the gun apart I noticed the top rail and front barrel support are pinned top and bottom
the front block isn't going to move like I've read it's impossible.
took the gun completely apart cleaned all the factory black grease from the gun gone.
smoothed out any sharp edges on the inside/outside of both springs hammer and adjuster
polished the rod and both springs to a mirror finish hammer and the hammer sleeve
also installed the HUMA AIR 7.5g hammer
changed that soft little o ring that is inside the plenum tube as its to soft and drags the new one does not nice and smooth.
went out today later in the day shot a full mag it was in the 30s maybe low 40s
whole new gun no more turbo lag for the first 3-4 shots
here is a full mag shooting 32g AEA slugs
not bad groups at 50 yds.

New here

Hi everyone I’m new here and just wanted to say hi and I’m waiting for the new barra 250z can’t wait but I preordered nov 25 and haven’t even got a update for shipping or nothing kinda bummed. Meanwhile I’m looking for a decent scope. Can’t wait to get everything

Benjamin  SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED??

Things that make you go hmmmmm.

My 44in long Kratos just showed up in a 30in box. I’m heading back to work and haven’t opened it yet.

Guessing the seller removed the barrel and shroud to save shipping in a bigger box. Or he shipped me a Red Ryder by mistake lol

Quite the assumption on the part of the seller to think everyone is an air gun mechanic lol.

Congratulations to the new Dutch champion Bert Vellen

We would like to congratulate the new Dutch champion in the 100m airgun benchrest Mr. Bert Vellen.

Dutch championship is make from 6 matches for the 100 meter and the 4 best results count for the title.

Also with Panthera and ATP King slug set a new Dutch matchrecord of 309 points. The total number of points of 1221 over 4 mathces was also a record.

Once again we congratulate him on a great end of the season and thank him for excellent representation of our slugs and his shooting skills.

Gamo  Bone Collector speed test

Any Gamo users out there that have one rated at 1100 fps, what are you actually geting?
Have a cheap chronograph, so I don't expect accuracy. Is more for comparison. My Gamo Bone Collector .22 is rated
at 1100 fps. I understand that is for alloy pellets, and still, is inflated for selles purposes. But... I barreley get 740 fps with
14.66 gr. pellets. That is less than 70%. Yet the Weihrauch, .22 rated 740 fps shoots 680 or more with same pellets. 92% !!
Love the Gamo, is fairly accurate, and powerful. Was just wondering if there is something wrong with it. Any Gamo users
out there that have one rated at 1100 fps, what are you actually getting?

N/A  Moderator indexing?

Hello nation,

I have been trying to find out if there is a way to index a Donnie FL sumo moderator so the logo is in alignment with the gun. I stumbled across another forum, but didn’t really find any answers on there. Can anyone help me understand how to index the moderator if possible?

Thank you, everyone!

N/A  Want a 10 meter comp pistol

Evening everyone,

it’s been a very rough few weeks so I haven’t been doing much shooting but it’s getting to be time to work back to normal. I mentioned elsewhere on this site that I’m interested in a bull pup and got some good recommendations. I’ve also developed an interest in a 10 meter competition pistol. I don’t know why but there it is. Since I’m not shooting competitively yet in pistol I’d like to find something decent but reasonably priced. Caliber .177 but beyond that I have no preference. Right handed for me. If I like it I’ll learn more and upgrade but for now, moderate price will be important. An RC club member is married to an Olympic class shooter. I’ve not been able to learn much as I don’t see them often. Recommendations are appreciated as always. Thanks.

AEA  Is the AEA Challenger Buildup .357 too much for a first air rifle?

Long time reader, first time poster. First off, thanks for all the info you've all provided this far into my research and interest in the hobby! I've been interested in air gunning for a while, and I think I've narrowed down what i would like for my first one!

Overall goal with this would be the thinning of several incredibly large and problematic packs of coyotes. They are some sneaky muts though, and love to break up to hunt in smaller packs of 3-5 in hopes of getting deer in my area. That being said, a quiet shot with a relatively quick follow up is a must. Gonna need power enough to drop them with a body shot at a significant distance (100+ yards), and stout enough that I can carry it afield with some relative ease of movement.

Long story short, as stated in the title I've picked out the AEA Challenger Bullpup .357 as my desired armament. It seems like it's got everything I want but this being my first rodeo I wanted to ask the experience of the group here if this would be a tough gun to start with? I've been shooting powder burners for decades, so the practice of shooting isn't a concern. I just don't want to jump in having bitten off more than I can chew.

Thanks in advance for the advice! I'm really looking forward to getting to know the community here!

Huben  GK1 Rapid fire @ 35yds

this was a couple of months ago,my gk1 is converted to a carbine or a pistol with a stock,as some people don't consider them a carbine , any way i have a small auto salvage , so sometime i use cars for targets, so i usually shoot a a shot to make a dent , & use it for a target, but this day i just rapid fired the 19 shot (sorry 22 cal) as fast as i could pull the trigger, no jams was using CPHP'S @ 900 FPS SET BY Kelly, & no way is this post is bragging , just showing what it is capable of , i was not trying to make it a precision thing just rapid , it blew a hole in the door of a Honda SUV ..

52 yd Shot with stock Notos on quail

Notos 13.43gn @ 783fps / 18fpe
52 yard shot on quail

Damn it, first quail with my Notos and didn't get it on vid. Was just out sighting it in at 50 yards to see how it groups at that distance with the 13.43gn, wasn't really out hunting, and along came some quail. Just got a rangefinder too so didn't have to guess on the distance.
I used the stick to show where it passed through. He just dropped, no fluttering at all.

Love my little Notos

BSA  Really Gamo GX40

Hello all, does anyone know UK shops that ship to the USA? I'm looking for a GX40 that doesn't have the ridiculous pickle on it. It seems we are cursed with those in America but the UK isn't. I'm not sure if there's some prohibition about that but the only place I see them is Gamo themselves and when you go to the USA side everything is pickled. Any shop suggestions or clarification that it's just not done for whatever reason I'd greatly appreciate.
Thanks much
