I want to chrony the GB but it’s not easy to break the valve even at 150psi. This thing is insane. I don’t want to whack my chrony. Estimate gotta be over 400fps. I might add a longer barrel.
Any data if you have one? I know it’s not a toy.

I have a synthetic stock for the Dreamline Classic. I bought it directly from FX USA. It has been put on my Dreamline one time for 5 days while I repaired my busted stock. Didn’t know how the repair would work out. I was happy with the repair so I took it off and put it in my safe. Like brand new. I do not have the two mounting screws that came with it. I’m moving and they’re packed somewhere in my trailer. If it doesn’t sell before I start unpacking in about a month or so, I’ll relist when I find them. $220 shipped CONUS. Now $200 shipped.

I haven't had much success with the 25gr Hades in any of my other .22 rifles (Leshiy 2, Caiman, Ranger). Tried them in the Commander this morning and found a winner. 30yds. I didn't have the chrony mounted so no numbers for comparison and energy info. Transfer port is on the highest setting. The first five shots were in the same hole but the remaining six opened it up some. Same with the CPHC's in the upper right. First half of the mag nearly one hole, then opening up with the remaining shots. I start getting uncomfortable in the shooting position and lose patience. Fun stuff, regardless!

I am receiving Atomic XR on Friday as Ranger was "out of stock" in .22 at AOA. Any 3rd Party magazines? Where can I get an adapter to make the folding stock? Where can I get zero degree vertical pistol grip? Suggestions for most accurate ammo and what velocity for them? I'm in CT USA

I’m very tempted to buy a Brocock Atomic XR. Are there any alternatives that I should be considering for the same or preferably less money?

I watched some videos and this thread is great.
I also browsed this thread, but nothing jumped out to me more than the Atomic.

Mostly will be plinking and targets in the yard 15-50yds and occasional FT.
What I want:
Accurate, enough to try some field target with it, but I don’t need any better than the Atomic for my skill.
Compact, folding is great but doesn’t have to if it is reasonably short.
Sub 20 FPE, preferably in .22, or tune to sub 20 while maintaining accuracy.
Decent shot count on a fill.
Consistent shot to shot.
Removable magazine, the only thing I don’t like about the GK1.
Quiet enough for backyard with neighbors.
Would be awesome to have semi-automatic also, but that seems to be a different beast at a different price point.
Also looks like the Atomic is reasonably reliable and repairable, so that is a strong plus. Any bad experiences?

UPS dropped off this Wildcat MK2 in .25 yesterday afternoon. I promptly aired it up, mounted an Athlon Helos BTR 2-12 (mil) and stoked it with 26.5 JBS Hades pellets. After a little HS tune, I had it sighted in at 40 yards into ragged holes at 890fps.

Couldn’t wait to put a few bodies on it, so I headed out to the dairy. Ranged this guy at 68 yards, dialed the 1.6 mils in the turret, held a mil of right wind…. and rolled her hard. Shot a few more at ranges between 40-75 yards in a nasty wind.

I think I’m gonna like this rig….

Hello ladies and gentleman. I have a semi recently purchased .35 cal FX Impact. I have everything tuned up nicely and have shot pellets and slugs. I have taken every animal multiple times over from large racoons, to possums, to yes Coyotes. Also plenty of tree rats . My question is this. In terms of Coyote hunting, I may be asking too much but I am looking to drop these things on the spot. I have tried a headshot with a JSB Hades and to my surprise it didn't down the first one I went after. Then I switched to FX Hybrids which I absolutely love for extreme accuracy as well as big time expansion. I shoot these between 950 and 970fps. They are roughly 70 grains. I did insta drop a coyote with these with a vital shot after that. However since then I have shot at I would say at least five coyotes (I do have some pretty excellent video of these). Even one where I dropped one for a half hour with three shots in total just to be sure. Then when me and the wife went to retrieve it it miraculously got up and ran off. A ZOMBIE COYOTE, only logical conclusion . I could not believe my eyes. These midwestern Coyotes get quite large, and there are swarms of them in my backyard which are a huge problem for my puppy dog. We do have a chain link fence but they can climb over this with relative ease. So the wife has a shoot on sight order when they are on our property. I uploaded a picture of what I would consider a pretty good vital shot. I even used high speed 120 fps to show the slug in flight and where it hit. Made a loud smack and looked to be in a vital zone to me. My question would be, would I be better served shooting these things in the head with say FX 83 grain domed pellets for downing instantly? These are nuisance animals so retrieval isn't vital. However I also don't want wounded animals out there. In everyones expert opinion is this animal dead? Just had to run a ways? I have done some research and know they are very very tough animals. I also have gathered that from personal experience . I have not tried headshots with the FX hybrids, thoughts? Someone told me even high powered rifle rounds can bounce off coyotes heads as they sort of create a ramp when they look at you straight on. So I am a little unsure of my shot placements and methods. Every other animal just goes down with a 70 grain hybrid to the head very quickly. In case anyone is wondering I am shooting this off a tripod in my office upstairs in my house. I have gotten good enough with the ATN balistic calc and the FX 800MM barrel to hit what I aim at. Just starting to doubt where to aim on these?

It's been awhile. I hope everyone is doing good. I wanted to thank you guys for grabbing the items I had for sale. Many of you have been wondering why I was selling. Like many of us I just had way too much airgun and optics stuff that I ended up not using. It was time to let go of some of my over flow. I did not sell everything lol. I still have lots of airguns and optics and goodies to stay in the hobby. I am grateful for that.

My participation in the forum and in shooting sports has really taking a backseat lately in my life. I sustained a head injury at work a few years ago, was in treatment/therapy for it for about a year and a half. Problem I have been left with is shooting hurts my head. Airguns are obviously much better so I do still shoot sometimes in my backyard. But much of my enjoyment of the sport has been zapped out of me - for now. Still working on healing and I am assured with time I will be able to get back to it. Just will take time.

I apologize to my friends in the airgun world and on the forum that I have been distant from. I am just distant from many and I am working to get back in to the swing of things. You are always on my mind and hope you are all doing well.

HFT is 'Hunter Field Target' and as far as I understand it is the name of the sport in England where shooters compete with sub 12 airguns in prone positions on the ground using a peg to steady their shot. I was taught we do not have active HFT events in America. We shoot WFTF and 'Field Target, Hunter Class' but not HFT. I bring this up because I consistently see HFT being used in conversations and forums throughout the U.S. Is it correct/accurate to use HFT? Are we using HFT as a generic term? Is it more correct to use 'Field Target' in its place? Does anyone know what the correct terms and definitions are? Let's get it straight.

I finally received my Zulus 5/20 LRF on Monday and was having issues with the app and not loading the ballistic table. After playing around I deleted the app, did a hard reset on my IPhone and then reinstalled the app.
The app then worked fine and my profile was loaded. I was able to get out to the range yesterday and met up with another member of Airgun Nation, Hotspark, we had a great time and I am thankful to have found another airgunner to shoot with.
The Zulus did as expected and I was extremely pleased. I have to get use to the LRF and the dial in feature. The zero process was extremely easy and only required minor adjustments. I zeroed at 35 yards and then it was off to the races.
I had initially set my ballistic table out to 75 yards and when I went to shoot at a target, 107 yards, I got a laser range finder error. I sat for a minute and then realized I needed to extend my distance. Went into the app and set distance to 120 yards and uploaded the table again.
Four shots later I hit the golf ball at 107 yards; the first three shots were just a hair off due to some windy conditions.
The weight and ease of setup, besides the app, was great.
Will definitely be getting together with HOTSPARK every week or so for some shooting and will even enter into some club shoots over the summer…

Just completed a fun little weekend project. Has all the target sizes, should make practicing a little more fun...

Has anyone ever found a Non Lead Pellet that is accurate? I went through a bunch of old threads, but nothing current. I found nothing over 16 gr and those were a Crosman with a Plastic skirt on them. Does anyone else make any in that weight? Or Heavier? I see the speed is there but FPE is very low. Any suggestions?

Got the .25 with .22 kit , some extra mags , and some .25 pellets as i have never had 25 before . Hit today , packaged well , no damage and all included that was suppose to be .

Wood is cheap n ugly , oiled it already to darken it , stock too wide up front , fitment is 3rd grade level . Shroud feels like tin foil , and all that is metal looks plastic . Threads on all are coarse , it holds like a rock , no consideration of off hand shooting . Not heavy but feels it , doesnt hold well . From 3 feet she looks sweet .

Gauges all over the place , could be cause fresh , wandering or just slow as Hell reg gauge .

Came set at 2800 psi on a 4100 psi fill .

Left it alone .

Cleaned and lubed it , mounted good scope . Fore end too wide for my Stinger , holds but not well .

Trigger is fine , 1/2 pound too heavy for precise work , but good for hunting n plinking , left it alone .

Action changed to left side . Smooth as can be , no pressure compared to my bolt guns , very slick . Mags work just fine , load easy with the big .25 pellets and my old eyes can actually see them and can feel them without looking , i like that .

Pellets feed smooth as i could want , lever locks down just right .Like the last shot lock out , good feature .

Sent 25 or so pellets out to nowhere , seasoning bore and getting trigger oull down . Sighted in scope . Was raining and nasty gloomy , could only shoot at 30 yards tonight , under cover of my pop up canopy .

Wont bore you with it all , but at tune it came with , which is hot , it threw the light pellets near 1100 fps and all over the map . 1 inch groups at 30 yards.

do not want to fool with rag or hammer until I've run a tin or two through it so I pulled some other weight pellets.

The JSB MKII 33.95 grainers were a thing of beauty . Fed like glass , nice brisk report , the correct sound , and literally stacked pellets on top of each other . Pellet flight was stable . Shot 4 5 shot one hole groups and some on a know your limits steel hanger , which it smacked !

Action is good nuff to fire a fast second or not move much on the bench when racked .

Was so nasty out chrono only got 2 shots , 844 and 843 with the 33.95 ers , about 53 fpe i think .

Dont know where hammer spring is , but reg at 2750 to 2800 when it finally settles. gage just has to be slow to respond because the shots are absolutely accurate and I can tell they're running the same speed..


so other than the way it looks and feels which I can change with a stock lift and a few other touches I think the gun is going to be a BAD ASS .

Love her action , way it feeds pellets , the safety out of my way , im lefty , and its future tuneability .

Could not stop shooting it tonight . Filled her up , the 33.95's, sat in drizzle at 50 yards in the dark with a bipod and
my scope illum on , lol , gun on shoulder . Light iff garage gave just nuff to see , she with ease , racked off the know your limits steel down to where i couldnt see the last 2 . The squirell reset as fast as i could rack a pellet . Was childs play at 50 even barely being able to see .

I recently picked up a few new Vector scopes at a great deal and wasn't sure what to do with them. Then I remembered my poor, neglected LGU that hadn't been shot in at least 6 months. Of all the unscoped guns I have, that one certainly deserved one. I mounted a Vector Marksman 4.5-18x50 to her and took her for a spin at 32yds.



I took 3 shots to get her close to zero and then went for groups. My first group was a bit disheartening at 1.8 MOA. Not quite what I expected from a gun that I routinely say is better than the TX and 97K when people ask. I shifted my grip, moved my thumb to an upward position, and pulled it a hair tighter to my shoulder. That seemed to help. Group 2 was under MOA. Keeping up with that grip, group 3 was under half MOA! We're cooking with fire now! Group 4 was another half MOA group up until the last shot (go figure). Not sure what happened there but I'm sure I pulled it. Short memory! I decided to end on a high note with group 5 at .6 MOA. 5 total groups averaging under MOA including a nearly 2 MOA warmup? I'll take it



All in, I think I made the right choice giving her a scope but now I'm pretty confident she deserves a nicer one down the line.
