Taipan  Taipan Mutant Short .22

Lol is anyone surprised about this? In my search for a .177 gun I was offered this .22 Mutant short from @Deathwizard . Looking for a 20fpe gun this just fit the bill perfectly so of course i jumped on it. I threw my 4-16x44 Arken LH4 on it. We'll see if it stays. For now I can have an Athlon 10x42 or Discovery 2-12x24 to try on it. Not sure which direction I'll go. Hopefully will get to test it out soon but having just had a son on the 18th I'm not sure just how much time I'll have. Plan is around 800fps with the 14.3gr CPHPs and also shoot the JTS 18gr wherever that'll put them. Will be a 60yd and in gun. I owned a Mutant standard years ago which is what started the Taipan addiction. Since I miss my Vet Short that I sold to my brother in law I'm happy to have a replacement for it and happy to have a Mutant where it all started many years ago. I thought I had pics but must have forgot. Will take one before I head out in the morning.

New Glass Fiber Composite Stock For FX DRS

I took my custom stock design work for the FX DRS and created a Glass Fiber composite stock from the design. A lot of features with Adjustable Cheek Riser, M-Lok Rail, QD Sling Swivels, lighter than wood, and tough.

Other  Need help with new gun decision. Analysis Paralysis

New member. I started out with a Hatsan 95 thinking I just wanted it for pest control (squirrels and rabbits). I hate it. But I caught the bug and now I am thinking I want something PCP and accurate (same hole) for target shooting as well. And there is a field target group near me in Dallas which I would like to try. I was thinking .22 caliber. I would like to find something used to get the most value. I would like to stay around $1k. I have thought about a new FX Crown basic (around $800) then get a chassis. I have also thought about Feinwerkbau's, Walther's, etc. Are there any recommendations for guns I should consider? I am just learning about guns in this price category. I could always bump my $$ if it is worth it. Buy once, cry once. Thanks.

RAW Rapid  Microhunter vs HM1000x Mini

I was having the thought of selling off my classic leshiy and the extras I have for it for a multi-shot rifle. And when looking I am seeing that there are two different options for the little RAW rifles. Has anyone done and in depth review of both of them showing what the difference is between the two rifles? I see that there is a few hundred dollars, but is there anything else different between the models?

N/A  How accurate is a TX200.

About 1500 pellets ago I put a new spring in my TX. It took about a half tin of pellets to get to near normal accuracy. I have had the feeling since its just not where it usually has been. 2 best pellets are AA 8.4 in .452 and JBS 8.44 also in .452. I decided to compare the pellets with five groups of each with 5 pellets per group. First thing I found out is probably why I think I lost a small amount of accuracy. Average velocity is 869 with both. I have decided to leave it there as we are going to have 50 yard matches this summer. I will shoot the LGU indoors at 760. Ok the aggregate 5 x5 groups measured center to center at 20 meters...JSB .209.....AA .278. The JSB 8.44, .452 appears to be the choice for all my springers. Works for me. In the 2 fifty yards matches I shot and won last years I chose the AA 10.1 for the added weight as it is close to the other two at 20 meters. I felt it would help fight the wind and that seemed to work out.

PCP Rifle  SOLD WTS .22 Cricket Tactical 60 (600.00)

This is a carbon stocked .22 Cricket Tactical 60 (long), has a new Huma reg and is dialed down for 880 with the Hades.

Had an issue with the bottle today while out shooting so swapped on a 480cc Air Force bottle I had laying around. After the bottle swap was getting inconsistent speeds and just not worth tearing into so letting it go cheap. I am sure someone with more tuning know how than me can make this as it should be but above my pay grade.

Comes with fill probe and two mags as well as stock regulator (works great). Sold as is.

600.00 and can split the shipping.

Huben K1 Meets Snake

i have some chicks in the yard and a pup in training as a guardian. This fella showed up and I had to get rid of it. 3 shots from about 15 yards. Third shot hit the head. I think I have 18.1 grain pellets loaded. Either that or 24 grains. I forget. It’s what was loaded and ready to rock. The chicks were about 15-20 yards away.

This is the first snake he’s encountered that I can recall.

A comparison photo for scale.

The web as it relates to our hobby

I often complain about technology and the frustrations that it can cause but then again I'll also wonder how much more enjoyable it has made this particular hobby to me as well as some others.
One of my most cherished airgun acquisitions are my Webley spring-piston pistols, a Beeman Tempest San Rafael in .177 and a Webley Senior in. 22 caliber. When they were in production I was in no position to own them. With the development of technology the world became smaller and in some ways a little more forgiving. It may have taken quite some time but I am finally getting to shoot these excellent air pistols.

RAW Rapid  HM1000X FPS question

As I’m completely new to the PCP world I have no idea where to start as far as adjustments if even needed.

Can hammerspring be adjusted and no reg adjustments to make it a little less complicated on me?

This is the chassis with no shroud.

On my Garmin Xero c1 pro
I’m seeing pretty consistent 950ish fps with JTS dead center 29.63 pellets.
My apologies I had JSB on the original post.
250 bar on the gauge which is another question on whether these gauges are pretty close?
Not wanting to damage anything if I overfill.

40 yards its placing same hole numerous times.

Any help or advise is appreciated.

PCP Rifle  SOLD Value Priced Guns - Shipping Cost On Me

Selling a variety of guns as they no longer fit my lifestyle. Intentionally undercutting their actual worth and absorbing the shipping cost. Some I'd hoped to use for pesting, others just for plinking; declining health has robbed me of the enjoyment of these guns and any chance of pursuing pesting.

I'm open to combining any of the following in a single sale though the stated prices for each are additive in any deal.

1. Crosman Optimus in .177 with Spectrum 3-9 FFP scope. Tuned via 2 coils clipped from the spring and gun tar applied to reduce twang. $80.
1000001039.jpg

2. SOLD. Beeman AR-78B thumbhole .177 C02 target rifle with original target sights. Takes two 12-gram cartridges to deliver 60 consistent shots. Bolt is aftermarket and oversized to aid ease of cocking. $80.
1000001037.jpg

3.SOLD. Stoeger XM1 Gen 1 in .177. Modified to accept Donnie FL custom 1/20 barrel adapter and Tanto .22 moderator, making this very quiet. Three 9-shot magazines and bipod legs included. Tuned for 54 shots (three mags, each two times over). Short Pic rails are attached to the bipod legs and are easily installed in the brass hard points at the front of the stock. Additional palm grip for shooters with larger hands included as are stock spacers to adjust length of pull. 3-12 scope with adjustable reticle. $100.

Spring loaded target

I’ve got bad knees so I have to eliminate as much walking as possible. Targets are a limp away, so any knock downs especially these have to manually be set up. Not into that.
IMG_1238.jpeg
I went through my drawers and found these springs, 14 in all.
IMG_1372.jpeg
After a few adjustment, grinding and cleaning.
IMG_1373.jpeg
Next I attached the springs to a plate.
IMG_1374.jpeg
”WARNING” welding skills are brutal. I hope the welds hold. 🤞
IMG_1375.jpeg
I have to get a plate cut to guard the springs.
IMG_1376.jpeg
I am going to smack these around after lunch.
IMG_1377.jpeg
On the 30 yd. line. Problem hopefully solved. Crow

PCP Rifle  NLA Cowboy combo

Selling two of the coolest, rarest airguns around at an insane deal because I simply need to make room.

Shin Sung Career Ultra 9mm & Orion 6 .177 Brocock BACS revolver at $1500 for the pair shipped CONUS—an extremely steep discount which will only apply to this package. I’ve listed each individually at $1100 and $800 respectively—the sold prices of the last private sales I’m aware of—so you will save $400 buying them together. I’m gonna kick myself forever for getting rid of these, but my safe is spilling over and these don’t get the love they deserve. Both guns come complete with all necessary accessories/components.

Thanks for looking.

PCP Rifle  SOLD Western Sidewinder “compact” .30

Selling a like new Western Sidewinder compact .30 cal with affixed Sarissa mod and 480cc bottle. This thing is a blast in semi/full auto and very accurate. With the affixed mod it is as quiet as a whisper. I bought it to burn through some .30 ammo and I did just that. Time to pass it on.

IMG_7486.jpeg

Comes with everything as new: soft bag, two removable mags, instruction manual. I added the bronze cages and they are included but easy to remove. Optics in photos are NOT included but can be negotiated. I kept the reg down for target but my understanding is that you can crank some real power out of it.

$1700 shipped conus. Zelle or PP.

Skout  Why I Changed my Epoch Barrel.

If you were wondering why I went to the trouble of fitting a new LW barrel to my Epoch here is why, I thought I would take some close up pics, there is practically no definition of any rifling and what is visible is uneven in both width and depth there is also a pic I found of a borescope that someone put down a barrel, and you can see the moon crater finish, but it looks better than the ones I have even so, there is also one pic of a LW barrel guess which one!

9 years old - Again!

Yesterday I had one of those amazing airgun days.
First, I got to drive out into the countryside in Baldwin County Alabam.
Second, I got to meet up with a a fellow Airgun enthusiast.
Third, I got to play with some of the most beautiful Sheridan pumpers I’ve ever seen.
Best of all I learned a bunch!!!
And what the hell, I shot a beast of a Hatsan break barrel.

Thanks @Bear-of-Grayling !

Hatsan  Maybe AGN can help me get a certain airrifle.

Hi AGN, It's been a bit. I have a 22cal Hatsan Flashpup bolt action I bought 5+ years ago. Great gun, zero problems except for the magazines. witch is not a problem for me.
So,,,Hatsan has came out with an upgraded version of the Flashpup . A Flashpup S version.A Side lever. And I would really like to get it . Yes yes there are the synthetic versions here in America. "BUT" The USA distributor does not have the model I want and they say they can't get it." did they even try? " If you look on Hatsans main site in Turkey you will find the version I want. It has the the wood stock. Is there any way I can get it? I don't speak or read Turkey so I don't see how to contact them. Come on AGN,make my day.
