PCP Rifle  SOLD Edgun Leshiy2 350mm .30 with goodies WTT or SELL for very good cash price..

Ive got an Edgun Leshiy 2 with repr reg, 350cc bottle ($250) and the following , all the extras I literally bought 3 weeks ago.

-Blackout kit - $185
-580cc Peazyfill bottle - $400
-Behemoth Reflex System with update Jack.Kwan baffle - $465
-Stock style airtube
-2 Magazines
-Jack.Kwan magazine holder
-Spare parts kit
-Also comes with all the factory red parts replaced with the blackout kit

Does not come with backpack , scope, rings, or bipod.

The rifle is shooting at 75 fpe and accurate at 50 yards. Chrono and group shown, shooting 44.75 hades.

I really like the quality of this rifle but in its current configuration it is not making ME fall inlove like I am with my other rifles, so for now it is the sacrificial lamb.

I am looking to trade for setups of EQUAL value , whether its a rifle of similar value, rifle plus cash, rifle plus scope, rifle plus gear. Lets be fair with eachother.

Off the top of my head this is what stands out when I think about what I would trade for and what I wouldn't but it is not limited to this list.

Leshiy Classic
Leyla 2.0
Evols of any fashion , paradigms, tacs, a 15" .22/.30 would take precedent as I have never owned one.
Taipan Veteran 1 compact .22
NO , NO, NO FX
NO BRK unless its a Ghost Compact
I will look at others that ARE NOT on my DO NOT WANTS.
Will also look at thermals, AGM or IRay, TS25-384 or better.

Just offer up trades, cash price is firm. I take care of all my stuff, I make sure everything is working properly before sending out. My feedback is impeccable with mostly big dollar transactions. Lets talk

I would take $2100.00 cash price for rifle, reflex, and peazy bottle which is a very very good deal. That is $2100 in my hand so you cover actual shipping cost (I get extremely good rates)

The silencer setup, 350cc bottle , blackout kit and the peazy bottle cost me $1385 alone. I dont know how you can beat that.

let me know .

N/A  Help me spend X-mas money

Hello,

My Hastan 130s broke on me and it was terrible to shoot anyway as it was amazingly hold sensitive and big and heavy (note I come from a powder burner background). I am thinking it's PCP time. I live in a neighborhood with direct houses on two sides of the fence, but also a wooded area in the back with squirrels to coons, to coyotes. I don't really need something to take a coyote with...necessarily.

I am looking for something that will be a lot like my firearms in that once I set it up, I can not mess with it for long stretches and it will be good to go. Something quite, yet powerful. Sometime not way too big and heavy too. I am leaning towards the FX dreamline with the adjustable power lighter weight, but I want to make sure they are reliable and long lasting before I shell out that much money! The Avenger X looks promising as well and it's probably my second choice, but I must be missing some options. The Notos is cool size wise, but I am not certain about power for coons...I think I want to go .25.

So reliable, powerful enough for a big racoon, quite (or the ability to make it so with an aftermarket moderator), and not too big and heavy.

Thanks! Happy New Year.

Sam

Scope level

I want a scope level for both my FT rifle and FT pistol. Everything I read about accuracy and long range shooting with powder burners says to have a scope level that can be seen with both eyes open while looking through the scope. Then close the non dominant eye and take the shot.

My question is, what scope level do you use and can it accomplish this task?

I do not want to level the gun, adjust my cheek weld and then take the shot. That’s too much movement for me to get things out of alignment.

I know I’m not shooting a powder burner. But I feel if I can implement their strategies for 1,000 yard shooting I can certainly improve my FT game.

Sorry, I hear so many opinions on the WHEN and I am still confused....

Thanks for participating. 😊

My Zulus arrived today…

It was scheduled for delivery on the 29th, but arrived today. And of course I can’t play with it as I will be on the road until this evening. Quickly mounted because I couldn’t resist getting a look at it on the gun. My intent is to sight in this evening and go from there. Will post up my neophyte impressions as I go along.

FX  Huge surprise!

I have my new .25 FX King all tuned to shoot H&N 46 grain heavy slugs or Alteros 50 Gr slugs at +/- 1000 fps. As earlier reported, the indoor short range testing looks very promising.

The Indiana weather has been too cold and windy to complete the outdoor longer range testing.

Today, I received a projectile order (as if I really needed more) that included a tin of .25 JTS 33.80 Gr pellets. I thought to myself, “I wonder what would happen if I shoot them using the high velocity heavy slug weight tune?”

The 33.95 grain JSB or FX pellets all seem to do best at 890 to 940 depending upon the rifle, so I fully expected these pellets at + 1,000 fps to be all over the place.

See the results below. I can’t imagine how good and consistent the FX King 600mm will likely shoot pellets if I would tune the velocity down.

She’s a natural!

My 7 year old wanted to shoot Airguns with me. She was struggling with handling a rifle length of pull and eye relief and what not so I through together a 1322 with red dot on it. And what a difference! Her first 5 shot group! (Rested of course). Guess I gotta paint it pink now haha

External ballistics question about non wind-induced drift....slugs specifically.

The situation....
Pellets and slugs from the same gun/scope/barrel, at about the same fpe. Scope set up for zero of 60-65 yards with both. Impact points track in a vertical line fairly well until about 80 yards, whereupon the the slugs start to drift to the right. By 100 yards the slugs are hitting about 1-1.25inchs to the right of the pellets. And the slugs only drift more and more to the right as distance increases. This was seen over the summer on long shots on critters, but I always assumed it was a slight wind that I could not see causing the drift. Yesterday evening I finally tried the slugs on paper at 174 yards, right before dark and essentially no wind. @174 yards the slugs are hitting about 12-15 inches to the right of the crosshairs. They'll still group pretty dang good, but that group is off to the right of my crosshairs if I hold dead center.

Were it not for the zeros of both projectiles lining up at 60-65yards I would simply chalk it up to two different projectiles impacting in different places.

The slugs seem to have a golf ball shanking sort of effect, specifically curving off to the right. It is predictable and consistent, and is simply something that needs accounted for, much like the trajectory arc. On all long connecting shots I have to hold to the left of the desired impact point.

I'm vaguely remembering seeing some related comments about slugs behaving opposite of pellets when rifling twist rates are taken into account, but I'm not sure that applies here.

Is this a rifling situation?
Is this something I'd see with pellets or slugs, but the pellets don't hold accuracy well enough at 175ish yards to see it so drastically?
This is happening, and not in just an isolated manner. I'm not trying to prevent it or "fix" it. It just is. But what is it called and what is the "why" behind it?

What the "Fat Boy", should have been

On one hand, I like the way that the (original) Huma Suppressors work. I've never tried the M50 "wrapped" suppressor. It seems that Huma is going away from the Kevlar wrapped design and going to a baffled design (???), so I'll never get to try the original wrapped version.

BUT...another brand has stepped up and built a Kevlar wrapped, chambered..."Behemoth" suppressor . Edgun has built a giant or Behemoth, suppressor. It's got a quick detach adapter for those with short gun cases.
It's about a 50mm diameter, and also like the Huma design, it has sections that can be added or removed that change its length.
It's more than a fair price from Utah Airguns, I took a chance and bought one.

I put it on my AirMaks, Caiman, .22, shooting about 820 or so fps. I've heard the term..."church mouse quiet" before, and never really knew what that meant. I do now. This big Edgun suppressor...IS...church mouse quiet.

There's just the lightest..."pfft"...out of the end of the suppressor. But now, it sounds like all of the mechanical things going on under my ear have tripled in sound ! I tried two different weight pellets, with the same outcome...very quiet.

The only thing I really don't care for is the way that they designed the quick detach adapter. It adds an inch (guessing) or so of overall length to the assembly.

I'll be trying on a couple of different guns in the future, and despite its size, may buy more.

Defiantly worth a look to those that want quiet.

Mike
