FX  FX Tuning Moderator

Pretty impressed with the tuning moderator from FX. I finally put a power block and tungsten hammer in my m3 to push H&N .25cal 40gr slugs a little fast. After the changes while my fps went up, so did the violence of the gun which changed the accuracy nodes. Changed the tuner positions and now we’re grouping tight again. Went from a maxed out gun at 930fps to a much easier and efficient 950fps. Happy with the changes.

Photos were from 50yds. First is the large grouping and the second two are after changing the tuner. Nothing changed with the groups other than changing the tuner.

PCP Rifle  NLA Minty FX Impact M3 POWER BLOCK Sniper Black 0.22 700mm 580cc Bottle, Front Barrel Clamp & Harmonic Tuner

This rifle was "sold" twice to the same buyer over the last three weeks but payment hasn't come through so I'm relisting it now...

[No trade offers on this listing please...]

Hello AGN,

I'm looking to sell a Mint, As New Condition FX Impact M3 Power Block 0.22 700mm Sniper Slugger in black & red w/ Orion high capacity magazine, FX 700mm Harmonic Tuner, 580cc bottle, stainless steel bolts installed and factory FX hard case. This beautiful rifle is less than a year new and is the very latest model with the Power Block and the new front barrel clamp. It is currently set up to shoot ZAN 30.5g slugs at a smokin' 1050fps what amazing consistency and accuracy (you can, of course, easily dial down the fps as needed)! Rifle also has the FX 700mm Harmonic Tuner installed to help you fine tune any slug or pellet you end up shooting with this rifle.

This M3 comes with a complete set of stainless steel bolts already installed (with anti-seize compound applied); these bolts not only look better - they'll wear better over time as they will not rust. All of the original black screws will be included as well if you want to reinstall those instead. The grip is an upgraded Magpul AR grip that looks and feels a lot better than the factory FX grip. The two anodized red rear panels near the butt pad are left over from a previous configuration and add a nice, unique touch to this rifle :) All in all, this rifle is in like new condition with very little to no noticeable wear to be found on it anywhere.

Price is: $1850 + 1/2 actual shipping to your location

Local pickup is available in the SF Bay Area - otherwise, payment by Paypal Friends & Family is preferred (or add 3.5% if using PP Goods & Services). I have plenty of feedback both here as well as dating back to the old Yellow Forum so please feel free to do your due diligence and know that you're dealing with a reputable trader.

PCP Rifle  SOLD JTS Airacuda MAX .22cal for sale “AS-IS” $300.00

SOLD

JTS Airacuda MAX .22cal for sale “AS-IS”

PLEASE read all of this:

In order for me to maintain my good name and reputation I am listing this rifle for sale “AS-IS”, and here is why.

I originally purchased a JTS Airacuda MAX .22cal air rifle ( serial number 2023229936004846 ) and returned it to JTS in Katy, Texas because it leaked air and the leak could not be located. Also there was a problem with inserting the Magazines into the Breech opening of the Receiver ( part #22 ).

After a long drawn out ordeal engaging with Travis Whitney, JTS finally sent a replacement rifle ( serial number 2023229936005186 ) which is the one listed here for sale. After receiving this rifle I discovered that neither one of the two Magazines would fit into the Breech opening. I was forced to remove .005" from the inside rear face of the Breech. When I reinstalled the wood Stock the Magazines, again, would not fit. I contacted JTS in Katy, Texas and was told that they would send me a “Flex Breech” ( this is a plastic part ) that I could install between the Barrel and the Stock and it would allow the Magazines to “work”. However, I was never told that the problem was due to a serious design flaw of the Receiver itself. The Receiver is so weak that when installing the wood Stock, the single “Main Stock Screw” ( part #12 ) can cause the Receiver Breech opening to flex in a closing fashion enough to prevent the Magazines from being inserted.

I also discovered that the Probe ( part #33 ) was bent. I do have a new Probe and it will be a part of the sale.

So if you are a person that can work on air guns I will offer this at a reduced price plus shipping to lower 48 states. I am selling this rifle because JTS and the dealer refused to refund my money.

PLEASE NOTE: I am selling this rifle “AS-IS”, I do not want any misunderstandings concerning this sale. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Comes with three (3) factory Magazines and all of the original factory accessories and original factory box and another outer shipping box. Note: one of the Magazines has been sanded down to allow insertion into the Breech.

If you decide to purchase I will list this on my website so you can pay with a credit card.

Defective airgun

After many adjustments on the rear sight, the screw came out with the spring. Umarex said, since I purchased the air gun from Amazon it may have been defective as Amazon buys products not knowing they're defective. They also said my pistol has been discontinued and they're happy to replace it with a Rugers Mark IV and it has a red dot. Viewing the responses in this forum, I wanted the opportunity to try the red dot but thought I had to wait. The defective air gun is a blessing in disguise. Meanwhile, the HOSP are accumulating, temporarily! Thank you for all of your advice and support. So grateful to you all ❤️

  • Question
FX  Best Bullpup .30 under $2500 Wildcat vs Ghost vs krait. Or Panthera

Currently looking to order my first high-end Air Rifle. Budget for Rifle is $2500 , for Rifle alone. I've owned Air rifles all my life. I've owned all the top high end paintball markers from 2002 until present day. Comfortable doing repairs. But obviously the more reliable the better . Just a little insight into my past experience.
One other option would be the Airmaks Krait. Mainly would be shooting 40 yards or se. Squirrels, Raccoon, anything that could be taken with fur bearers license in PA. But I want to be able to take those long shots when possible. First purchase will be the worst due to having to buy compressor. So looking to make it count.
It's very hard to tell off of YouTube who really likes the rifles, versus who's a paid *****. Clearly most of the content creators are getting the gear for free, and they will not say anything negative. Clearly Fx seems to be top dog, and have the most sales and marketing. I think all the top brands look good, and appear to be all good. Which is the most reliable? Accurate? I'm looking at .30 caliber , and 600mm barrels, and want carbon fiber tank

Tuning  The “Thunderbird” flys. …. My last big gun build. I

This is the second of two rifles I designed 16 years ago. I built one already. It’s known as the ”Firefox”. Some have seen it posted a few times here.
936A01CD-9DB2-43F6-B4BE-40FEE4DB4D50.jpeg
It was designed for hunting bigger game and at the time to see if I could. It does a solid 32 ft lbs .. it’s a carbine shrouded LW .25 barrel with custom piston and machined rear trigger block as well as cocking arm.

After hem hawing ,I decided to assemble the other one. It’s a bear to make these as they are parts from a Webley Patriot and a Uk Tommy trigger. Both valueable guns in their own right. .. Because of that , a custom piston as well as rear block had to be machined as they never made these guns in 30 mm tubes. A Uk Tommy is 27 mm , custom sears and the tube of a Patriot lengthened to acomidate the Tommy trigger and block.

This gun is a bit different as I’ve learned a few things since the original build.. it’s still a 32 ft lb hammer but I did things a tad internally different on the spring ,piston, port, and barrel.. The stock is wiped with spirits to show future grain when finished. As I stated I will not be building any more hammers like these as , 1. I can’t get triggers , 2. I’ve built smaller prototypes that are easier to cock and shoot daily..3. There is no market for something like this as cost would be like a expensive fire arm. BUT BOY ARE THEY FUN TO HUNT WITH…poop DONT RUN AWAY.

I will be lengthening the shroud 2 more inches to aid in cocking and for looks.. These were parts from the same design I made 16 years ago..

This bird hits hard at 32 ft lbs. 25.3 Jsb kings @750 it will launch 20 grain domes at 875 for 34 ft lbs but it’s not as friendly
Its a long time coming and I really did not plan on doing this one as the “Firefox” is so good. But Alas. I feel content knowing my original plan was completed, even if it was 16 years later. I still have a lot of soft labor prepping metal for bluing and finishing the stock
I may even consider engraving it

The rare “Sniper-Squirrel”

Hello everyone,

Beautiful Fall evening in the woods of Deep East Texas and a rare sighting of a “Sniper-Squirrel”. This dude was about 45 yards from me and about 25 feet up in a Pin Oak tree with no leaves. He was so used to hiding in the leaves from me and he hit the base of the tree as fast as he could go and got up about 25 feet and I heard him say, Oooops. Brain shot right in his ear, first kill for my new Brocock Sniper XR .22 cal.

Traditional Rifle  SOLD WTS Weihrauch HW30S

I
I have two HW 30S rifles in .177 to sell. They are both lightly used and in excellent condition. Both have additional inserts for the front sight. The rifle with the peep sight is for $225 plus shipping. The peep sight shown is not included but is available for additional cost. The one without the peep sight is for sale for $200 plus shipping. This rifle is less because it was accidentally dry fired when an undersized pellet fell out while closing the barrel and I did not realize it. It has functioned perfectly since then and has no issues.

Pest Control Pellet or Slugs

Here’s my conundrum…
I’m new to the whole PCP thing I’ve been looking for ages and watched everything I can on YouTube and finally went out and got an fX wildcat mkIII BT .22 with all the info out there I wanted to narrow it down do I shoot pellet or slugs.I’ve started tuning with nsa and Zans between 20.2 and 23 grain as well as Diablo 18.3 which shoot great but lack knock down power at distance. I’m finding it difficult to get consistent groups with slugs which I’m not sure if it’s due to the liner or the speeds I’m shooting or should I try heavier pellets?also being down in Oz were not aloud to use moderators so finding a tune that’s in that sweet spot and keeping the bark down as much as possible has been a tricky process I mainly would be using it for pest control but I have a 50/100/150m range on my property and quite enjoy a bit of targets shooting as well any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Christmas present to myself...lol.

I've had the online subscription to the Blue Book of Airguns for more than a few years but when I went to renew it to find out they've lumped it all into the Blue Book of Gun Values and after trading a couple emails with their staff, it appears there will never be another stand alone edition of the Airgun Blue Book and the 13th Edition will be the last one that covers just airguns, so I went looking and bought myself one brand new off Ebay.
Anyone else buy their own present whether gun, scope, accessories??

PCP Rifle  NLA Evol .30

Looking to sell my evol 30. It’s in near flawless condition, sports a luthAR buttstock, and hogue grip. It’s currently set pretty close to stock, shooting 44.75 jsb for 3 mags.

Gun is light, powerful, and extremely accurate. No leaks at all, and reg is rock steady! Only moving to save up on a high end big bore for the kiddos to deer hunt with.

$2000 FIRM shipped conus in the same case I recieved it in. Will also include 1 factory mag. Scope, rings and sling not included, but can be for additional $.

Will I trade? Absolutely! But the only way I’d do an even trade is if the rifle you are trading me is worth what mine is. I won’t be trading a $2900 rifle for a $1700 rifle even. If you want to use new price tags on the rifle you are trading on, I’ll do the same and the difference can be made up in cash.

Any questions or more pictures, message me.

I’m an established member here, and have 100% positive feedback in the classifieds.

PCP Rifle  SOLD Professionally Tuned Marauder Custom Shop Huma Regulated, Lothar Walther 177

Looking for a Hunter Field Target rifle??

Selling a used, but excellent Marauder Custom Shop 177.

Removed the crappy factory regulator and machined a new plenum spacer and spacing collar to be able to install a new Huma regulator. This was a serious upgrade, the Huma is significantly higher quality than a factory crosman regulator.

This gun has the LW .177 Full length target/ match grade barrel. It doesn't disappoint accuracy wise. Stellar performance.

The valve has a modified poppet and spring, it allows for easier opening and better flow.

The guy has a light weight hammer, custom made by me. It's less than half the weight of the factory hammer. This is necessary for a precisely tuned FT gun. It softens the shot cycle, breaks a shot much faster than factory, wastes less air.

This gun also has an SSG, made to consistently launch the hammer with the same speed and strength. The freeflight can be adjusted, but it's set perfectly for Hunter class as is.

The trigger has been polished and adjusted as well.

It is stellar, not in perfect condition, but very usable and stupid accurate.

Tune would be $120
Huma Reg $120
Rifle : $700
SSG $50
Lightweight Hammer: $50
Valve work: $35
Trigger work: $45

These are the costs of what this gun would be. If you sent it to me for this exact setup. It has handling marks, but it does shoot amazing, has stellar consistency and is in a super usable package.

Shooting heavies (10.34gr @900fps)

Finally gave up.....bought a air rifle

I personally had enough of the craziness of trying to find (or pay outrageous prices) for .22 ammo. I spent a couple of weeks researching the internet for a quality air rifle. With the gun and scope on the way Im looking forward to getting back into some target shooting.

YOU LUCKY SQUIRREL SHOOTERS, KILLERS. But maybe not?

I read so many posts about shooting squirrels on this forum and wonder why such a big deal? Well I now know you all have serious problems with them. My wife is from Louisiana, I'm a Yankee in Washington...sucks I know.not that's she's from LA but that WA now sucks. However...the squirrels here on the Olympic Peninsula are small and present no problems. I, as a kid shot one and tanned it and made a puppet for my kids.

You guys who have huge squirrels and can eat them is difficult for me to understand. Everyone I know say they taste good but is it worth such a small chunk of meat? I guess so according to my wife. They are protected here in WA.

Some here on this forum stated that you've killed 20 this year...I'm interested in knowing who has killed how many this year? How can these critters come back with you few who knock em off? :)

Just having fun on AGN. Nothing to thak serious tonight.

Traditional Rifle  NLA Pair Of IZH 61's *lowered last time*

Got a couple IZH 61's I'd like to offload as a package deal.

First is a plastic receiver 61 that has been converted to a PCP... Yep. Springer converted to PCP. Includes fill probe as well as what I believe is the full box of parts to convert this back to a springer. Purchased conversion kit from a fellow in Russia years ago. Chronies at 500fps with 8.44 gr. Fill probe is a little fiddle as well as cocking. Fill probe could stand new o rings. Had been holding at 120ish bar for years. It may have leaked down to that or I could have just stored it at that pressure. Unknown.

Next is a steel receiver 61 unmolested as far as I know.
Chronies at 430fps with 8.44gr

As with the other ad, I cannot speak to accuracy on either, except from memory. I've not shot them in years save for the quick chrony testing just prior to posting. I recall of no accuracy issues with either. Each includes one clip.

Would like to sell this as a package deal for both guns, as well as the box of bits to convert back.
$425 shipped. Now $400 $350 shipped

AEA  AEA AKA YAJ

AEA also known as YAJ (Yet Another Jam).

My AEA (whatever that stands for) had yet another jam, after the many jams I had before.

A design is deeply flawed if a bad magazine will make your trigger fail.
A failing trigger will put holes in the places you least expect (like a window).
If you are lucky it is only a window.

And that is what happened again today to me.

My AEA HP SS had many trigger failures in since I acquired it 1-2 months ago.
Today I realized that there is a trigger failure quickly, since I had plenty of experience,

I went in a safe place,
removed the stock,
got my forceps (a tool used by doctors) and picked up the pellet stuck behind the trigger.

If you want to deal with that, go buy an AEA airgun.
