PCP Rifle  WTS Evanix Giant SELECT FIRE (FULL AUTO!) .25 Gorgeous Wood

The holy grail of pre charged pneumatics!

Here’s your chance to own a piece of PCP history and one of the most sought after models in existence. This is a full auto, electrically actuated, pre charged pneumatic rifle, built by South Korean manufacturer Evanix. With almost a liter of onboard air, an electric trigger, a FACTORY SELECT FIRE SWITCH, and beautiful wood work all while maintaining a slim and sleek profile these are extremely sought after and almost never available! Package includes the Evanix Giant .25 (serial number: 0413H011791) with full/semi select switch, 2 mags (1x 9rd OEM, and 1x 10rd 3rd party), instruction manual, two fill adapters (1x OEM, 1x 3rd party). OEM battery, OEM charger, and will also include a smart charger with whichever select fire Evanix sells first. The scope and stand are not included.

I believe in absolute transparency as I’ve been burned on pre-owned items which is why I have close up shots of any areas that aren’t mint. Written description of imperfections would include marring on the pressure gauge (cosmetic only). Minor wear on the right side of the wood stippling of the hand grip. Wear on the anodizing on the edge of the barrel cap, wear on the inside of the barrel cap from pellets. Hairline fracture on acrylic window to see internals (on basically every Evanix full auto in existence).

The rechargeable battery is rated for 500 shots and you can easily buy new ones as they’re the same type used in airsoft so you’ll never have an issue getting more. This is one of my two select fires and I’m not happy about parting with this one or the GTL 480 big bore but I live in a small apartment in the city so looking back this was never going to work. Looking for $1.8k.

I know this is a big purchase so please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions!

Will consider Leshiy 2 barrels/mags as partial payment.

N/A  Inertia Assisted, Lightweight Top Hat

Ok so this is just proof of concept at this point and I won't be able to really test it until tomorrow but I can't imagine it won't show some promise. This idea was borrowed from the Theoben pistons and applied to work in a spring piston gun.

Ok so what we had was a gun with a heavy solid steel 55gr top hat as seen below:

20231212_154357.jpg

While tuning a new gun for lower power I decided to ditch this top hat for a lightweight top hat. What I did was basically clone the factory top hat and drill out the center. It came to 7g so basically 48g lighter. Huge difference.

I then went to do some testing and thats where it went off the rails a bit. With 8.44gr I was getting pretty decent bounce and the shot cycle just felt off. I switch to a lighter 7gr and the gun felt perfect. Ok, so let's add a bit of weight to the piston and see what happens.

Then I got bored and decided to get creative. What I did was make a new top hat but this time only drilling 3/4 of the way through. I then added a little breather hole at the base of the guide as well as the top (pics below)

These holes are there to prevent a free floating brass weight, turned just slightly loose for the bore of the guide, from getting caught up in a vacuum when the piston fires. The brass weight is roughly 1/2" shorter than the open length of the top hat and weighs 22.5g (over 3x more than the top hat) so it can move back and fourth free. When the piston fires, the brass rod gets sucks to the back of the top and theoretically removes most of its weight/mass from the piston. As the piston bounces off the pocket of air, inertia pulls the brass weight forward and immediately adds 22gr to the piston to fight any bounce. More pics below:

After running a quick test afterwards, the excess bounce is relieved and the gun SEEMS to behave better. I'm off to class now so I can't do any further testing but tomorrow I'll scope it and see how it does. I'm hopeful for some positive results.

New products for FX impact and Panthera

Hi guys I have been working on some products for the FX Panthera and king.
I will be making these magazines and grips for FX impact also. I am working on them now.

The Grip is a game changer. It puts your hand right underneath the trigger. This forces you to pull the trigger straight back, really helps with accuracy. The setscrew allows you to adjust how far out you want to set the setscrew to feel it when you put your thumb on the grip. . This gives you a really controlled pinch to the trigger. The grip helps mediate trigger pull to the right, giving you the edge at the benchers competitions.
I have black and Dessert tan

I also made a different style of cocking lever. Feels really good when cocking.

Belt magazine clips onto your pants and also you can add a screw (included) so you can slide your belt threw the clip holder incase too like to wear a belt.
There is a set screw on the back that adjust the tension to hold the magazine in the clip.

Orange part is an Empty chamber flag, you can add a Key ring and flag to it. It just slides into the chamber and keeps the bolt open wile there is a cold line.

Bought a new PCP Gun now what? Need help please!

So I am completely new to the PCP game. I have powder burners and a break barrel but no PCP's until now. I ordered a Kral Puncher Jumbo and now I have to figure out how I am going to fill it. I pretty much don't want to mess with manual pumping. I am 60 but still in great health and condition but the thought of pumping a gun up for 200-300 strokes just doesn't sound even a little fun. So from what I gather you can get a compressor or get bottles and have them filled. I am curious how many fills you get with a 60 minute SCBA bottle? 30 minute? And what about using a SCUBA tank instead of the SCBA? How much in extra parts will I need to purchase to interface with the bottles? As for compressors which one? Is it better to get a compressor and bottle/s and just fill up the bottles? I have a huge shop air compressor and it sucks you can't use that monster.......LOL! I know I have a million questions but you folks all seem quite friendly and willing to help a newbie out and I thank you in advance for any and all advice!

N/A  Scope mistery.

I was trying best scope on my Sidewinder .30 for a hunting I will go on next days.

With one of the scopes (a West with beautiful reticle) that works well on my Uragan .22 the Sidewinder shoots really bad. I mounted back the scope it used to have and the rifle is perfectly accurate, with pellets holes touching at 50 yards.

Why the scope that works on the Uragan .22 does not work at all on the Sidewinder?

Explanations are welcome for me to learn.

Crosman Customer Service?

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone has a contact at Crosman management? The reason I ask is that I have let's say an issue with an item I purchased and have communicated via. E-mail, and phone (customer service) and haven't received what I would consider "good" customer service. I'm not here to smash Crosman I'm a fan and own and have gifted Crosman air guns. I'm just trying to give Crosman an opportunity to make this "issue" right :). Hopefully I will not have to share a bad experience about a company that I have trusted in. I believe in sharing information both good and bad on experience's I've had with any product/customer service so that others have the ability to make a informed decision on a purchase.

RTI  Orion the iguana hunter magazines

While on a squirrel hunt a few days ago I either misplaced or lost my factory mag.
90% of the time I use a single loader but at times I use the mag and like having one when I want or need to use it. (I prefer to use the mag when it's cold out when im wearing gloves) I have a after market mag for it but it does not do well with slugs. (Prophet 1 compact 177) I seen in a post awhile back of a new mag the iguana hunter was making... Ordered one up and received it today... It works great for slugs in 177... Cycles perfect.. I like how easy it is to load like the factory mag and that it has a sealed back... If you don't give the factory mag a little tap after loading slugs will fall out.. I'm impressed with his new mags... So far so good.... Fair price too..

What did you do airgun related today.

What did you do today?

Sort pellets?
Mount a scope?
Shoot a rifle you have not had out in awhile?
Checked some seals?
Checked to make sure all screws are tight?
You name it.

I’m trying to stay away from the buy/receive haha
This thread is to promote what you already have.

I took my Pard NV008 off my Notos and put it on my P35 25 cal. I zeroed using my ZB mount to my required distances. I also set up a camera to alert me to the critters I’m after. There are some larger critters that need some lead at night. I also plan on installing the plenum and barrel kit as well as some buck rail stuff on the notos.

AEA  Prices US vs Europe, holy moly

Did some price comparisons between US shops and a big shop in Europe (Wolfiek Spain).
The difference is ridiculous. Up to double more expensive in Europe.

I don't see such huge differences with other brands, altough US made guns are ofcourse cheaper in the US, but AEA is a Chinese brand. It's not made in America.

What's going on here?

Ofcourse you Americans who read this don't care, but Europeans do. 🙂

Huben  [follow up] 2 different methods for degassing the GK1 (explosive disassembly?)

I wanted to perform a disassembly on my GK1 and watched the vid by Kelly at KrazCool and he basically does a controlled demolition
whereas in the Wolfiek group it appears the simply unscrew a grub screw at the top and it slowly vents
I know Kelly knows his sh*t, is there a reason he does it the way he does? Thank you!
