Having fallen for these air rifles with the use of my HW30 the past few weeks, I'm looking for another rabbit hole to climb into.

I've read all I can find about the two rifles (the 35 and50). That said I'd like to hear how they compare to each other AND the now familiar HW30.

Most interested in their handling and balance, untuned shot cycles and most importantly to me their respective accuracy potentials.

The rifle will be used for squirrel hunting and informal (but serious) target shooting.

Most likely going to be a .177, unless I'm talked into a .22 version of one of the rifles.

Hello, i’m a bit new. I’ve never disassembled my PCP yet. When I actually get around disassembling it for maintenance, is it a good idea to stick in one of those desiccant sticker inside the air reservoir? The MicroPak stickers found in shoe boxes dont rattle and sticks to a surface.

desiccant sticker would take up very little room, but not sure if they work under pressure. Anyone tried this before? Or any idea if it would help with moisture?

Sent these three consecutively after work today. Am dog tired, but had to send a few down range. Bipod front, fist and shoulder for rear. Wind from behind my left shoulder about 2-3 mph. Groups 1 and 2, JSB Exact Jumbo 18s. Group 3? CPHPs. Within 50 yards? Small pests don’t know the difference…

I can't find any of their youtube vids. These 2 guys were were the best to watch for real "long distance" shooting.

About 3 weeks ago, I emailed Steve Corcoran (Woods & Water Outdoors) requesting if he could make a laminate stock for the AAA Evol Paradigm. I already have the walnut version and thought it would be nice to pick up a separate laminate stock for it. As some might know, Steve makes the walnut stocks for the Paradigm in collaboration with Tom at AAA and AoA. Steve informed me that he has already started making laminate stocks available in two colors, Green Mountain Camo and Gray laminate.

He had already sent them to Tom at AAA for assembly and informed me that the laminate stocks weren't available for purchase through him and I was told to contact AoA because the new guns with laminate stocks would be sold through them. I went on to AoA's site to check if they listed them for sale but no luck so I decided to give them a call. I spoke with Darren at AoA and asked him about the new laminate stocks and if I could purchase one separately.

Darren informed me that I was the first to ask and said he would check on them. He later came back and said that I could get one and that it would be sold through them and drop shipped from AAA since Tom still had them for assembly and has not sent them to AoA yet. I decided to get the Green Mountain Camo laminate and received it on Labor Day. I'm only posting about this now due to a busy work schedule and I finally had some time to take some better pics.

This is my first Green Camo laminate and I'm super happy with the color combination. Thanks to Steve, Tom, and especially Darren from AoA for working with me on being able to pick up a separate stock. I really enjoy dealing with AoA. Those guys rock!!!

There are various ways to scam people and there are various ways to determine the legitimacy of an ad. I saw an ad that I thought was too good to be true. The person allegedly had done a lot of business on AGN. "Have bought and sold many rifles/scopes on this forum. You can buy with confidence." That is a quote from his ad. He joined June 8 2022 so that is your first warning flag and he has done a lot in that time. ??????????? So I decided to Paypal some money to the email address provided in his ad. Any legit scammer has a Paypal account, right? And so he did. I sent 25 cents to that account. I expected some sort of reply such as "what is this?" "what do you want" etc you know, something. I got nothing at all. You know that Paypal told him that he had money. I am just going to conclude that it is a scam for my benefit. It may not be but I am not going to risk it.

I bought a 12” x 12” centrifugal bullet trap off of eBay. Not much more than the (less effective) standard .22 rimfire traps but much more effective for recovering intact lead nuggets and producing essentially zero back-splatter of lead fragments. Because the lead is always hitting at a shallow glancing angle it doesn’t break up as much as in my rimfire trap.

I’ll attach a couple of photos… I admit the one showing the inside of the catch container isn’t a great shot but you can kind of see the streaks from the pellets running along the inside of the curve.

The trap is quite heavy and very solid construction. I got it for $140 which i feel is a great price.

Search for 12” bullet trap on eBay and you should see one listed. The seller seems to list one at a time, with a brief pause after the end of each auction so if you don’t see the centrifugal trap available try again in a few hours.

So months ago ( 4 i think it is ) i applied for a weapons permit to get a silencer for my .177 rifle.
It have taken so long as Danish police are once again trying to implement a new computer system, and this time it seem like they are trying to make it work instead of just throwing a 500 million DKkr piece of software in the trash cam as they have done before.
This fact have pretty much ruined this season for all or very many hunters, and i assume also a lot of recreational shooters.
So a few days ago i got a MSG from the police ( TEXT MSG )

About your permit for a silencer.
This require a import permit first.
We can not issue a weapon permit before the silencer is imported into the country.
You can apply for a import permit at police.dk. ( which is the people i have contacted for a permit to own, but it now seem like i need a permit to import first, and then pray they will grant me the right to own / use the silencer, CUZ it could be that they will not allow that ,in which case i am out the price for the hardware i now have a illegally hardware or can not use legally at least, and that could well be a fine on top of it all )

This mean i once again have to apply, and as the computer system are probably not running yet as it have only been 10 months or so since they tried to launch it, well i probably have to wait another 4 months for a import permit, then once i have the silencer i can apply for a weapon permit / use permit, and that probably also take 4 months at least.

O and BTW say i wanted to go to the states to show the guys how its done in a competition, well on my not needing permit .177 airgun, i will probably have to get a export permit none the less to take my rifle to the US,,,, and a import permit going back to Denmark.
So even if i was the competition kind of guy,,,,,, well a paper pushing guy i am not, so really i am stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I dont think it is hard to figure out why i have such a low sense of national patriotism.

My question is, as a reasonable non brainwashed person. Why haven't the police just sent my application to the import people, which i am willing to bet is the same people or at worst 2 desks away it is not like it is impossible to figure out what i am trying to achieve here ?
That way i could have my import permit today, and just had to wait for the actual owning / using permit,,,,, so in theory i would be able to use my silencer legally next season.

I’ve bought tons of pellets over the years from Pyramid and they’ve always arrived packaged extremely well. My recent shipment however surprised me. Have any of you had similar experiences?

There was some brown packing paper on top of this but this is what it looked like when I took it off. I’m disappointed and wonder if this is standard operation now.

This is my third Crown (the second one I've built). Currently set up as a benchrest competition gun, it comes with two completely custom assembled barrels. These barrels are a 700mm and a 600mm and are of the traditional FX steel barrel, liner, shroud configuration. Each barrel is complete so that all one needs do is drop in the new barrel and you're ready to go. The gun is currently set up to shoot JSB Match Diabolo Exact King 25.39 grain pellets at 915fps for the 600mm and 920fps for the 700mm (same tune for both barrels). The trigger is a match grade trigger which is currently set for a very light 2 stage, 11oz break. I’ve been struggling with sporadic accuracy on my Impact in .22 lately. I cleaned the barrel probably 200 rounds ago. It still wasn’t shooting like I thought it should so tonight I pulled the liner out so I could really check it out. After a couple patches soaked in ballistol and letting it soak then dry patches until they came clean l thought I had it. I held it up to the light so I could see through it and I could see spots. I soaked a patch in Hoppes #9 and ran it through then I scrubbed threw it with a brass brush and these ribbons of lead flew out. Hopefully that’s my accuracy issue. I’ve been shooting nsa slugs averaging 968 fps.
My questions are how do I keep it from fouling so fast/bad and would lubing the slugs help with the fouling without affecting accuracy? Thanks
