RTI Mora .357 issues

Purchased Vulcan 3 and Uragan 2 .30 700mm a few months apart, about a year back. With similar power, shooting side-by-side, prefer U2. Balanced valve technology makes less ammo fussy, smoother action and quieter operation. WM
I was told by someone who knows these inside out that V3 valve holds up a lot better when it comes to serious power levels. The balanced valve is supposed to be the weak point in U2 tuning.
Something to think about. There's something for everyone 👍

This is going to be a long stretch. But Is there any way you could take a picture of how the valve assembly goes together with the dwell pin, sleeve, spring and pin probe. I took mine apart and can't get the gun to not leak out of the barrel. I think I may have something wrong with something I the valve.

Even drawing a picture would help.
Sorry bud, I am unable to right now and can’t think of how he went off the top of my head.

@rtiarms are you able to help out with this?

i got my mora about a month ago with neilson slugs i have this same issue it was so bad the slugs didn't fire and got stuck when loading a second breaking the cocking arm I've contacted rti several times and got no response I've changed to zan and they do fit better but i still get the lead particles in the barrell i will test to se if poi is better but it was horrible impossible to site in

With the barrels we noticed just last week that few of them in 9mm, were not machined as per our specs by Lothar Walther (they make and turn our barrels except the chamber - we do that part ourselves). That could cause the problem since the monocore could get misaligned.
i have the mora and am having this exact issue mine was bad enough that the slug didn't fire but because i couldn't get a consistent impact i didn't know and tried to load another causing a jamb breaking the cocking arm I've had to 3d print my own cause no one responded to me and i couldn't find the part to buy on my own

I can’t say for sure on mine since I can no longer shoot it, but I’m wondering if it was the tensioning nut behind the shroud base. There looks to be a gromet inside of it that when you tighten the nut down, it applies tension, holding it to the front of the rail. I would guess with mine being loose it allows the barrel to wiggle all the way back to the chamber like FX guns would
the 3 Alen screws on the top of the but stock in front of the magazine hold in the barrel for the barrel to move they would have to be loose the barrel itself holds the shroud on otherwise the barrel free floats unless u have the shims in where the barrel passes through the black nut that's between the shroud and the stock

I recently received an RTI Mora .357 sniper that I had ordered. First impressions, it’s a beautiful gun, feels great in the hands, very light and smooth cocking and great trigger, also very quiet. Out of the box from Talon Tunes it was shooting 100gr zan slugs at around 215 fpe.

Issues I am having: pellets and slugs are clipping inside of the air stripper in the shroud, throwing accuracy way off. I have tried 3 different weighted Zan slugs, 2 different weights of NSA slugs, some home cast slugs and JSB pellets. I opened up the air stripper a little which helped accuracy without the provided hush 50 silencer attached, but now clips with the silencer attached. I’ve spent some time shooting without the silencer. When I go to air up the gun and then return to shooting, the point of impact changes and I have to zero it again, this happens everytime. During one of my shooting sessions, the shroud base that clamps to the barrel blew back and I got blasted with air. Now the trigger is slowly moving further and further back into the handle. Currently have about 400 rounds shot through it. The gun did not come with the cheek rest or a user manual which I have read others complain about as well. Not exactly what I expected from a gun in this price range, but they are a new release and I guess there will be bugs to work out. Currently working with Talon Tunes to see what we do from here.

Just wanted to share my findings and see what others might be experiencing.

if u take the plate off the side ull se the entire trigger mechinism it has a rod u can spin that will move the trigger forward or back u pull the end with the sping away from the gun and u can spin the rod

i made this for mine to add a tripod grip or whatever with mloc

Well I just ordered a RTI .357 from AoA. I’ve been using AoA for many years… nothing against Talon, I hear he’s great too.

RTI… Is there something we can do to check the barrel? Is there a serial number range of where you had Luther Walter barrel issues?

I’m buying this rifle because my western rattler has been in for warranty repairs 3 times since I got it brand new, and I can’t count on it to get me through an entire hunting season. I’ve had the powerwheel fail, broken baffles and now magazine rollers break. I love the rifle but it breaks down on me. This brings me to the Mora.

I think if I witness (first hand) two higher- power air rifles consistently fail at price points of $2,000+ from two different manufacturers , I might loose a tremendous amount of faith in the sport which I don’t want to happen.

Nothing against RTI, but why not try out the challenger elite .357 for half the cost?

Sorry to hear you are facing issues on a new rifle. Even though we do shoot each gun at 35 yards and we leave them over night (usually more) to check for leaks, such things can still happen. That is why we think after sales support is very important. We heard you already got in contact with Tony from TalonTunes.
I have bought a Prophet II a couple of years ago. The spring of the trigger was not seating correct. When pulling the trigger, the trigger did not go back. Fixed the spring myself. When shooting the gun in quality control that would be noticed before leaving the factory.

To be honest, RTI have always looked after it's users / owners. I own 2.

Hopefully things turn out alright for the Mora test pilots. The Mora is beyond my budget and required power level. Simply sitting on the fence watching.

RTI.shop, deceitful is the politest word I can use. Manipulation of the associated manufacturer products.
Edgun shop, Huben shop etc.
My first valve was leaking. After sending a message, RTI send me a new valve. My second broke. Send RTI a message, twice, no response.

I just checked emails and I don't have any Simon, except one from New Zealand. Are you sure you were talking to us? It is possible we missed it, but we do try to answer most.

Unfortunately it is possible that it worked when we were shooting it. We do shoot each one for accuracy and also before packing to check the safety. We also insert the magazine which means we need to cock it. This is not an excuse, but just wanted to explain that it is possible that this would occur later.

I could not cock the gun right out of the package, because the trigger did not go back. The spring was sitting between the pull rod and the housing.
I did not have the same issue after. Maybe the cause would be shipping. The package I received was undamaged from the outside.
Maybe RTI is testing for accuracy from now on. I don't believe my prophet is tested, or very quick test before leaving the factory.

I have filled the contact form on the website https://www.rtiarms.shop/pages/support. I received a confirm message from

I had contact with Matias in the past. Can I still return the leaking valve for a new one?

Simon, the email address you posted isn't RTI arms.
You have been communicating with RTIarms shop.

Good luck 🤞. Gary
