Selling my Arken Zulus 5-20X day/night scope with LRF. I used it a few times then put it away. The 5X is to much magnification for the type of shooting I usually do. I previously used the Sightmark 2-16X and prefer the lower magnification for the initial sighting.
Includes all the accessories: mount and two sets of screws, eye shade, two 18650 batteries, manual, and box.

This one just got back from Martin where he tuned it for the Monster Redesigns (was tuned for the 18.13) and gave it a once over.

Shooting the Redesigns right at 940 and the JTS 22.07 at 990 both laser accurate.

I got a call from AOA today. The salesman told me my HW30 stainless is in. I have 2 others on order, but they didn’t arrive. I paid for the 30 and asked to hold till another comes in. He said it will at least be a month. I said I would check what else they had but I think I have most the models on line. He said no you’ don’t. These aren’t even listed yet, but these just came in on special order HW95 Walnut stainless in .177 and .22. As weak as I was, I’m proud to of bought the first. Got a .177. The death of the springer rifle

So i have a beef with the Airgun industry, specifically Spring and gas ram air rifle makers.

WHAT HAPPENED???????

When you paid a high ticket for an air rifle it was worth it as it was a functioning work of art. Bluing with a mirror finish, exhibition grade wallnut stocks, amazing triggers. Top of the line barrels and accuracy for days. Some where along the line people just forgot. Now its ABS plastics 10 lbs triggers and not so impressive stocks.

These companys put out some of the best of the best. Yes some went under others sold out to other companys. But man i really wish some one would step up and bring back the springer. 90s and early 2000s were the hey day. And from like 2011 on they fell off. It sadens me it really does. Collectors hord anything worth a can of beans so finding these pieces of art work are next to impossible in the States.

Yes pcp are all the rage and have become extremely popular. The pcp really started to take over in 2013, from my point of View anyway, 2016 it just hogged the market and our beloved spring/gas ram forever applied to the back burner.

Cripes... apologies. I didn't realize I had so many questions until I finished this post.

I'm spooling up on my first PCP, which will likely be the m60b. If inventory doesn't happen soon, I will be shifting over to the Zelos. So... same sort of frame, but Zelos has a degas screw.

I'm considering the GX C3 pump, if that is of benefit to know.

I've been trying to self educate, and have not found some basic answers to things I am curious about. Being overly OCD, I just want to avoid doing anything which might expose myself or others to bodily harm, or expose the gear to failure due to misuse.

OK... here goes. What are the correct steps for charging tanks in the following conditions?

1) Fully discharged tank on gun (I'm guessing at the process):

Open bleed screw on compressor. (I read that I should never start a compressor with pressure on the pump)
Attach hose to compressor and tank foster fittings
Close bleed screw
Start compressor
Stop compressor at desired fill
Open bleed screw
Remove hose

2) Partially filled tank on gun:

Same as condition 1 above?
Or does attaching the hose to a pressurized tank foster fitting then cause the mounted air rifle tank to back pressure the hose? (It seems to me that an integrated check valve on the tank would be a good thing, but I don't know what I don't know)

3) Filling a tank of any charge condition while tank is off of the rifle :

Same as condition 1 above?
Is there a valve on both ends of the tank such that the tank maintains pressure while off of the rifle? I have this horror scenario in my mind that I go to unscrew a charged cylinder and it goes shooting across the room.

4) To degas the m60b, I think folks just back the cylinder pressure gauge out a couple of turns to let it leak down. For the Zelos, the degas screw is used. Is this correct? Better way?

5) I see that the GX C3 pump has an integrated water and oil separator.
Is this the same as a "dryer" to keep water out of the gun?
Does that required draining / cleaning / media exchange? How often?
If the above is NOT for the compressed air, what is recommended to keep water / oil out of the air rifle tank?

As per my earlier posts my Avenge X has been somewhat inconsistent in its shooting behaviour. I ended up cleaning the barrel with a soft piece of cloth pullet througt the barrel from the breech side and out and also tightened every set screw down. I bought some JST Exact Heavy Diabolo 10.34 gr pellets and these were a gamechanger. For a short while. Because after a few 100 pellets the gun returned to its previous stage and became inconsistent with a lot of poi shifting. The scope is tight and level. The screws are tight. So then I bought a cheap china chrono that should be pretty acurate and these were my first readings:

JSB Exact Heavy Diabolo 10.34 gr pressure from 4000psi down to 2500 psi, reg 1800 psi and HS all the way out

There is a lot of inconsistency and as the hammerspring is turned all the way out, I dont know what to adjust other than the reg to get the fps down to a sub 900 level. I would like some advice on how i can improve/tune this. Here is a picture of my “groups” from 22 m (indoor)

Quick question, any body have any experience with modifying the return spring on the umarex Notos poppet valve? Im trying to maximize volume of air (extended barrel) to push some slugs hard.

Any suggestions on a good replacement spring?

If I have to take material off the spring how much should I go? I would prefer not to have to do this of course. I like to preserve all my stock parts.

I have a Macavity Arms 25 cal. Long ( production model).
I bought it from Pyramyd maybe 3-4 months back.
I have only run about 3 mags through it and it stands up to the 1 moa at 50 yards claim.
I never did push it out much farther except to do a bit of plinking, not grouping.
Anyway, my personal inventory is getting too high and I would like to let it go to someone who might be looking for a Christmas present or maybe just another addition to their inventory. LoL!!!

My question are:
- Which seals do I use?
-Where can I find them

To preface, I have no Olympic games ambitions. I've seen what it takes to earn that, and I'm not interested. The juice ain't worth the squeeze for me.

I've recently started shooting PCP air rifles to supplement my smallbore and high power rifle marksmanship, and understand that ammunition performance will vary.

When bench testing pellets on a 10 meter bullseye target with a pinpoint 10, how accurate will pellet performance vary in terms of scoring rings? Example: will pretty much everything clip the 10 point to some degree? Or will some pellets only be capable of 8 ring accuracy? How much more accurate can I expect R10's to be over bargain-basement wadcutters?

I was trying to clean up my gun room off and on for the last 3 days.Any hoot tucked in the corner with a cover half over it,i pulled out a old Daisy bb gun.I can't even remember were i got it?Well anyhoot cocked it and it firied"put a little trans oil in the oil hole on top and loaded it up.Man it fired harder then my co/2 bb and i hit a can too" man that did bring back some memory's?They did have a fancyer model their,i think it was the Red Rider model.Mine was $4.00 and that model was i think was $6.00 bucks.Mine had a plastic stock.I no this is going to sound a little weird to some of ya?but it took me 3 months to get it"i would bring in 25cents to 75cents a week.man when your only 8 years old and no body give's hist" you are a kid so pop bottle's and beer bottles down by the rail road tracks.That was pretty cool that old man would give me a reciept each time i would bring in some money.I think he gave me some bb with it?i wont go into the story about the pellet gun,but i carried buckets of water behind a building to the front to water plants .When i was all done the owner would give in 500 22cal. Benjamin pellets.Id open it up and small the peanut oil.God i hope the spell police are not out??
