HI I am looking at the rattler or sidewinder , My question is for .22 and 25 cal , what is the magazine depth? can they shoot heavy slugs???? if so tell me about what you shoot , and are they the same gun except for barrel length and magazines???? I've had a hard time making the choice to post up my AAA .22 15" EVOL; however, I've moved to mostly .25/.30 for anything high powered and only keeping my lower power .22 rifles.

I purchased this new from AoA in October 2022 and it has been extremely well cared for. A few small marks around the barrel from removal (can be seen in pictures) but very clean otherwise.

This EVOL has been very accurate for me over a wide range of projectiles. I've had it tuned down to ~30fpe for 18 gr pellets up to ~46+fpe pushing the 25.4gr pellets in the 900 fps range. Currently this EVOL is tuned for 18gr pellets @ 900 fps, but with the current reg setting can be turned up for the current suite of 20-22gr pellets around 880 fps without touching the reg.

If there is a specific projectile and power you'd like to setup the EVOL for I'd be happy to do that before shipping.

I know we all use moisture filters between our compressors and either guns or tanks. I was wondering if anyone also uses a filter between their tank and gun? Once your tank air cools down any moisture formed from that, the secondary filtering should keep that out of the guns. I can't recall anyone discussing this.

First off... a quick shout out to this community as it helped my son and I pick up an Air Venturi Avenger. Overall we're impressed with the build quality given the price.

Dialing in the optics today, we ran out of height adjustment by a few ticks. I noticed one of the rear rail screws a bit lose, so I pulled both rails to inspect. Can someone help me identify what these 5 screws are for? Shimming the rails? The front screw (4) on the rear rail is slightly proud of the aluminum cast.

Before I jump the gun and adjust them, I wanted to get some info on their purpose.

The OKCGC AirHead Group had their July N50 Match. It turned out to be a really nice day overall. Sure the heat was on the high side but that’s Oklahoma in July!! 20 shooters came out and man were we glad to see all of them! We had two matches which gave us 26 entries. Confusing, no not really. We had 13 shoot on match #1. For match #2, 7 of those guys shot in match #2. The 6 that that waited for the second match shot with those 7 bringing the total entries to 26! 7+6=13 shooters in match #2. 13 in match #1. Ok now my head hurts lol.

Sorting these new to me AEA Center Punch pellets is getting pretty boring. Has anyone determined where they are made? Who is making them for AEA?

We have a groundhog problem at work. Took this one with a Umarex Gauntlet 2 SL .25 with a Sightmark Wraith 4K max.

What do you think of GAMO CF-X ROYAL?

I saw some bad reviews online that it starts to leak grease and do not shout good after a while

I am a self confessed lover of Taipans. I've tried others over the years, and always end up favoring my Veterans.
Any Taipan owners that have bought an Airmaks Krait and can share their thoughts on how they compare?
I've gotten used to the rear cocking on the Taipans; no longer bothers me; because their accuracy, triggers, anti double feed, etc, etc, just wins me over time and again.

Just that the specs on the Krait look pretty good on paper..

Located a 2010 (purchased new) coltri sub compressor with a Honda gas engine and approximately 300 hours on it. Not knowing much about these things is it worth 1200 ?? Thanks guys.

I m think of buying my first air gun but I am not sure which one to get a break barrel Norica Spider GRS or a second hand under leaver HW77.
The norica is cheaper and more powerful but the HW77 is more my style.

I will be using it mainly for hunting which one do you recommend?

Sorry if this has been discussed before., so I'll make it quick.
I see videos where tuners say, for slugs, leave the valve all the way open with a slight turn in, (but basically it's wide open).
If you're wanting to zero in on a particular velocity and are maybe 5-10 fps high, would you dial in the Valve knob until you hit the desired speed or would you leave it alone and back off the HST a bit?
Easy enough to try myself really, but wanted an opinion

I'm thinking about getting a tank for filling my M&P-rods w/ Foster fill port. I know there are a lot of them out there.
Reliability and quality are most imortant to me. What brand(s) overall do you recommend? Best source for one?
