Taipan  Thats unfortunate

Well today while working I noticed something while grabbing some tools out the back of my truck....the dreaded sight we all hate to see
20250423_120622.jpg

It's only been a few days since I shot it but clearly looks like I will be replacing the orings on the ol' Mutant. At least whenever I have time. I have all the orings for the Veterans but will have to do research if they are the same or not. My luck probably not. Guess the Vixen will be riding along until I get this resealed

PCP Rifle  SOLD RAW HM1000x .25 Chassis bench setup | $1300 + needs service - reduced *EDIT*

So due to needing some quick money for house repairs I need to sell this RAW HM100x Chassis rife, a well known excellent bench / long range competitive setup. Also I really do not do as much bench and competitive shooting as I used to so I am now looking at something smaller and lighter (no trades though, lol). I purchased new about a year ago, installed my favorite optic and moderator and was very impressed but I have owed RAW in the past and expected that. It comes with the Gray Ops CNC 16" Arca Rail with Magpul adjustable bipod, so it will attach to any standard rail mount tripod system or can just be used with installed Magpul unit. In original box with manual, .25 caliber mag and parts kit. Only fired it less than 100 times so like new condition. Solid competitive or long range PCP rifle. Asking $1600 and I will cover the shipping in the 48 states, if outside will have to discuss shipping options.

*EDIT* Okay will this is frustrating but I now have to change my asking price due to a slow leak in the fill housing, a normal service part, so this is now what I am offering; After talking to Martin the founder of RAW his lead time is about two (2) weeks and he charges $90 plus parts for the service. Unlikely he will need any parts as I still have the original parts kit with included O-rings. This is a normal servicing that needs to be done somewhat regularly and if handy with PCPs can be done by the owner with minimal difficulty. So with all this hassle in mind I have to drop my asking price to $1300 and I can ship to Martin here in Tennessee and he can forward to the new owner when he has finished. Thank you for understanding and I am willing to listen to any reasonable offer.

The aselkon has been doing OK.

I wasn't able to get some great groups on this gun for some time, so i cleaned the barrel and let the gun season for a few shots. and after around 30 shots i was able to get a same hole group at 55 yards. After setting up strelok correctly... I started to try long range shooting and was able to get a consistent sub 1 inch group at 70 yards. I pushed this gun to 90 yards and i managed to score hits on sparrows and doves. quite happy with the performance so far, however I think i'll end up getting another air rifle in a few months. but im learning the ropes of being accurate and consistent still and im happy to be learning the process.

I think i settled with the P35X as it looks quite light and decent for on the move shooting. I'll be able to get that maybe by the end of this year :D

Huben  IYKYK the GK1 is simply amazing!

This air pistol is insanely fun, accurate, powerful, and efficient! 🫶🏻

I thought about putting this in the Air Pistols section, but TBH Air Pistols never really excited me until this one!

Are people missing out on the likes of remarkable products because they’re “stuck in the past” using the Forum List view instead of the fully comprehensive Threads view?

PCP Rifle  SOLD Daystate Wolverine R HP .22 cal Laminate - $1,085 Shipped!

*** SOLD ***

I'm clearing out some of my guns, especially the more powerful ones, as we have lost our big range and I generally only shoot 25 yards with friends in the backyard now.

So no real need on my part for this High Power Wolverine R in .22 cal with Laminate stock. Gun is in fabulous shape cosmetically and mechanically, I am the original owner and it has had only light use.

The last time I had it over the chrony it was shooting JSB 18.13's at 1,009 fps, and JSB 25.39 MRD's at 886 fps. Both accurate, the MRDs just a little better.

This gun comes as shown with OEM box, owner's manual and paperwork, 1 ea OEM magazine (it uses the new style with flip open door), OEM single shot tray and OEM hex wrenches to adjust the trigger.

An excellent shooter and a real beauty!

Note: I used a Saber Tactical bottle mount Pic rail for my bipod, so the stock is undrilled/un-marred.

These are currently on sale at AoA for $1,600+ when you include the shipping cost.

My price is $1,085 with payment via PP Friends & Family, including shipping to CONUS addresses.

First "I'll take it" wins.

Thanks,
Tom

Other  Airgun for Squirrel?

Hello, what small airgun would you recommend for front yard squirrel hunting? I have nuisance squirrels that have refused to get in the traps since last September, and now the nerve of them, they are courting to reproduce in my front yard! No, thank you! I need something that can finally end the squirrels, but won't ricochet into the neighbors' yards across the street if I miss.

My trap has been a Squirrelinator, with peanut butter, sunflower seeds, various fruits sometimes, etc. why won't they GET IN...

Also, I don't have very strong wrists, so I might avoid the pump action ones. But it's not like I'll be using a whole canister at a time, and those can get pretty expensive if just firing a few shots and then the rest of it leaks out from non-use. I don't know much about these things... and could use some advice.

Other  HOW TO CA

Does anyone know how to get PCP air rifles shipped to San Diego California? I too as some have mentioned in these forums, have been boxed out by air gun companies, HOW DO I GET A PCP RIFLE SHIPPED TO MY ADDRESS???

Only thing I can think of, is having a good buddy who owns a GUN SHOP, and have it shipped there. Didn't really want to bother him with this crap, but I don't know if there is alternative. SECONDALLY, if caught with a PCP air rifle in SAN DIEGO CALIFORNIA, would they throw the hammer down, take it and bust the hell our of me?

Hawke 2-7x32 AO IR - Mil Dot Reticle visibility

Hi all. I used my Westhunter 3-12 FFP on my Taipan .25 Compact for a while, and realized I pretty much have only been using it on 12x for shooting pest birds out my windows. I want to use the compact for squirrels this fall, and also will be using it for rabbits in the yard that like to nibble in the flower beds. When I dial the Westhunter down to lower magnification, that reticle all but disappears, to my eyes. I am thinking that, for the closer range applications I will be using it for, I might want a SFP scope for reticle visibility. I also think a lower magnification might suit my needs, with a wide FOV at 2x helping me spot squirrels and rabbits and, if I see one quite a ways out, dialing up to 7x should be enough magnification for a 40-50 yard shot on a squirrel.

How is the Mil Dot reitcle on the Vantage 2-7x32? Is it extremely fine like the Hawke AMX reticle, or is it heavy enough to pick up easily against a dark background? I know this is subjective, but any feedback you all have would be appreciated.

Thanks,
-pg

Karma  EQ 50 yard groups

I had a little time to test the karma EQ .30
My rifle has not been zeroed properly I took this optic off another rifle and threw it on the EQ. Shooting was done on a portable Caldwell table with sand bag and camera tripod. Standard 44.75 jsb pellets @880fps. 6 shot per group. At 50 yards. I have a bunch of different slugs and some heavy pellets to try out still. I am very happy with this rifle, everything about it is solid. Great job Karma Airguns, and thank you pellet shop. This is an amazing rifle

PCP Rifle  SOLD FX Wildcat Mk3 Compact .25 - $785

*** SOLD ***

I got this gun from another AGN member in a trade deal. Never a single issue with it. I was using it up at the firearms range to try and keep the ground squirrel population down, which was trying to destroy our berms. Then the State of CA shut down our range, so no need for squirrel control any more.

The last time I checked velocity this gun was shooting JSB Hades at 842/859 on Hammer Spring setting 6/7, respectively. These Wildcats always have impressed me with their accuracy, even the first shot when the gun has been sitting for a while.

This is a nice, clean gun which comes with a magazine, fill probe and the FX OEM hard case. First owner installed sling studs and a small Pic rail section for a bipod (or light, or...).

Payment via PP F&F, and shipping included within CONUS.

I'm only asking $785 - maybe give a fellow AGN shooter a shot at a nice price before I go the trade-in route.

First 'I'll take it' wins!

Thanks,
Tom

Evanix  Good PCP'S are untemporarily.

Yesterday I took out off the shelf my first .30 Cal: Evanix Rainstorm.

Refilled it to 200 bar, loaded the magazine and after four years of resting, I shoot to the coyote silhouette at 55 yards. That Coyote should have a 44.7 JSB pellet in the heart.

Just as simple, accurate as it was.

The confidence of hitting with the first shot after ANY time of inactivity or refilling IS WHAT MATTERS in a hunting PCP, no matter if is the latest technology or an ancient one.

N/A  Dont be afraid to ask for help

Hey guys just a friendly thank u for all the comments on. My messed up guantlet 30 sl .being an hvac technician it's tough for me to ask for help being mechanically inclined. But alas they don't call me mikey fingers for nuthin. Tuning  .177 for Hunter FT or just a nice hunter

This was a fun build. Learned even more about the Kuzey after this one. Required a mod to the plenum of the Huma to seal. Moved the o'ring from the inside to the outside At the valve seal due to the slight difference from the Kral valve. Kuzey uses more of an AirArms design than the Evanix design of Kral. Added a front gauge to get both a tube pressure and reg pressure reading. Uses a double shroud for stiffness. Donnyfl suppressor adapter and all new internals plus a lighter hammer with debounce hammer spring. Polished the trigger and it really breaks clean. I really wish it had turned out this way for the original buyer but didn't know the plenum o'ring wasn't going to seal properly so I just refunded him and got it back to finish. Turned out better than I expected in the end. 10.34 JSB average 890's with about a 15fps spread over the full string. That's with the external hammerspring adjuster on the lowest setting and 100bar on the reg. It's even tighter ES in my testing when I sorted them by weight. Rifle is listed in the classifieds if you're looking for an HFT gun.
