Been a while since crows woke me up with early morning calls, but today, they did. After morning coffee they returned. Grabbed Taipan Veteran Long .25 and slipped out side garage door. Plenty in trees and flying about calling loudly, good news, they hadn't noticed me. Leaning on, and hidden by, A/C compressor sent JSB 33.95 that dropped one @ 27-yards. Pandemonium followed. Dropped another from 33-yard pine, then another. Frantic calls brought more, sent one fleeing after loosing large puff of feathers. Panicked screams from a close call finally sent the remainder packing. Searched for three, only found one. After picture, placed crow in woods, an hour later loud, scolding calls from a tree just above the deceased. Walked out and placed off-hand shot right to body mass as crow snarled and growled. Flew off about as wobbly as I've ever seen. WM

I bought the Talon SS new circa 2006 and this is from before spin-loc bottles. I haven't used it in quite awhile and now the bottle won't hold air. The leak appears to be around the threads of the brass insert. I have looked on this site for instructions on how to replace the seals and what o rings to use but didn't find what I'm looking for. I found one flat black rubbery seal between the valve body and the bottle and that looks OK - or at least I think it was holding air. I'm not spotting the seal between the brass insert and the valve body. And I'm guessing that those are the only two needed for the valve itself. What seals / o-rings are needed and where do I get them? Are they something I could just pick up at the local hardware store? Are there more than just the two seals for the valve? Photos below.

View of the seat where the core sits. I don't see the seal for this part and nobody's been inside the valve and removed anything. This is what it looks like when I opened it to see if I could spot the problem. Technically I could have sent it back to AirForce, but now having opened it they would probably consider that as having voided the warranty although I don't know if seals were covered under that.

Hello everybody , I would like to have your opinion about the new Kalibrgun Snipe 2 . Is it really more accurate and consistent than the Tactical model ? For me ,there are 2 major improvements : a new loading system ( at least ! ) and an external adjustable regulator . Does it really turn it into a "sniper "?

Hi guys, I have an fx crown mk2 0.25 with 600mm, the maximum I got was 836 fps with 33.95 gr with 105 bar, wheel on high and number 23 on the hammer, I can get more without having to change anything, increasing the pressure on the regulator only decreases my fps

I'm thinking of purchasing an avenge-x or avenger ,I can't seem to find info on the differance between the two, I saw one review on the avenger that said the receiver and pic rail are plastic, is this correct and is it the same on the avenge-x. I don't live near a shop where I can go and look at guns in person. Thanks in advance

Never shoot it so going to sale it, Bought it a few years ago shot maybe 25 times ,, Shoots good , accurate, and the trigger is beautiful, front site does have some glow in the dark red paint on it, I could wipe it off, Got a Bianchi holster made just for the P ll , Also a black soft custom case for the Pll,, Except for the tiny little scratch on the top rail the gun would pass for brand new, (1st red dot mounting) .. 375 shipped in lower USA sounds like a good price, The price is firm .. Squirrels and my bird feeder just do not mix ! today i set up on the screen porch . A tall table sits about 25 feet back from the door and about the half way point through the porch .
I lock the door open and stand at the table , perfect 19 yard shot . I was set up about 7 AM and put out a full feeder (5.5 pounds of wild bird food ) by 10 AM i had three squirrels less to eat the bird seed but the birds ate apx. 2 pounds of seed ,.The Squirrels climbed up the 1/2 inch diameter steel pole but never got so much as one seed .
The critters are going to eat well tonight .

I bought two Bushnell Engage Scopes ( 4-12-40 REN41240DW ) two years ago for FX M3 and FX Dreamline. One Bushnell failed and I shipped back to Bushnell for warranty on 8-7-2024.. NO word yet on repair / replacement. Numerous phone calls but can't leave message.. email, NO reply.. Not Happy...
I bought another Bushnell Engage 4-16-44 ( REN41644DG) 2FP from a forum member and put it on M3... Works well for my application. Another new one is $249 ( Amazon) but I just cant support a company that doesn't stand behind / reply to emails or answer a phone call on a warranty...
I'm looking to buy another scope and want to possibly buy a FFP. Budget is ~$500..
Element looks pretty good but just would like to get best bang for my $$.. Element ( Helix) I believe, is made in China. Bushnell is made in China..
Just need a reliable scope with lifetime warranty. I'm not too hard on my equipment..

There are dings wear and scratches on the plenum as I've had to wrench on it. Never planned on selling the gun not cared as long as functions safely, sold my buckrail AR conversion grip frame and the stock frame and stock are back on. The left side of the pistol grip, lower screw the hole is now a slightly bigger hole. The fantastic quality screw provided finally gave out, the head snapped off leaving the stem half a mil below flush. I had to dig. These are the negatives. And why I'm selling so cheap.

Accuracy wise.. incredible with all of these. Except cphp, it's not bad, but it's not the same single tiny hole group at 30 that the rest are.


If you can look past the aesthetics, the gun is in fantastic working order.

My New CS4i From GX Pump is making a metallic clicking or tapping noise under load. Sounds almost like a galloping horse. Any one else notice this noise? Is it normal?

I recently purchased an Umarex Notos in hopes of turning it into a compact iguana gun to take with me at my job. I got it, cleaned the barrel, and probably have no more than 50 rounds through it. Shoots accurately and consistently, but I realized it doesn’t have the power I was hoping for.

I purchased within the last month or so. Sent the buttstock to Firewalker and he converted it into a folding stock. Installed a CRC precision 25cc plenum. Bought maple customs magazine and single shot loader. Has a moderator insert installed (but have the original insert if wanted). Gun shoots VERY quiet with the insert. Shot 725fps with Hades 15.89g before plenum install. Shoots 795fps after plenum install (22.5fpe).

Throwing it out there to see if anyone is interested. Notos $250, folding stock and moderator insert $75, CRC Precision 25cc plenum $100, maple customs 10 shot magazine and single shot loader $50. Would hope to get $400.

I've finished two rifle totes. This is my one of my retirement hobbies.

1. AMBROSIA MAPLE + RED CEDAR ACCENTS. - 1ST THREE PICTURES

2. SASSAFRAS + BLACK WALNUT ACCENTS.

I've added tie down holes, 2/side to use bungee cord or strap to secure rifle in the Tote. Finish is Danish Oil.
Leather protecting the rifles is thick and soft. I leave the leather a bit "proud" to make sure rifle doesn't touch wood edge. The rope handles are 1/2" polyethylene in chocolate melted on the ends to secure in the Tote.

I use lighter but sturdy hardwoods to keep the weight of the Totes down,.

• The Sassafras/Walnut weighs 8 1/2 pounds.
• The Maple/Cedar weighs 6 1/2 pounds.

One set of stock holders is for 480cc bottle guns and the other is for 30mm tube rifles. Joints are 14 dowels and waterproof wood glue.

Need help picking my next gun.
I want to be able to shoot JSB 34gr heavies at around 930-950 as well as 34gr Zan slugs occasionally in the same power range.
Let’s say 65-75fpe or so. Gun will be used for plinking spinners and bottles etc in the woods and hunting raccoons and G hogs.
What would you guys pick?
