Beeman  Now I have two 🙀

I have ordered a number of the Beeman pcp and wanted one of several. Today my Commander in .22 came in and when I went to store the box I saw another box just like this one🤨. And starting to look for the other one and I was. Setting about 6 feet from it and sever more. Don’t know how I missed when I thought I had carefully check what ones I had. Anyway isn’t two always better than one. Charles

PCP Rifle  NLA Talon SS .20, Red/Mad Dog Stock, Altaros Regulator LOWER PRICE

Impulse purchase. Purchased during the July 4th sale. Ordered the Mad Dog stock and Altaros regulator shortly after receiving the airgun. Regulator works really well, it's set at about 135 bar and shoots the 13.73 JSB's at 740 fps. I shot it yesterday and got 70 shots with an extreme spread of 11 fps. If you want more power the regulator would need to be turned up along with the power wheel. Before I added the regulator max fps was in the 840's. The auto safety has been removed. There were a few places on the air tank that were chipped (see pictures), I've touched them up since I took the picture and they're not noticeable unless you're looking for them. I took my Impact 480cc tank and it used temporarily. Fits perfectly with the Mad Dog stock. THE .48L TANK IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE SALE IT WILL COME WITH THE ORIGINAL TANK. I just wanted show how it looked. Got a little bit of a hangover with the original tank but works fine and does not affect my hold at all.
Scope and rings not included
I've got well over $800 in this setup, selling for $600 $550 shipped CONUS, Pay Pal F&F or buyer pays fee.

best materials to clean you barrel

still being green to this sport id rather ask than make mistakes
so my questions are
how often do you clean the barrel
do they use a brush like 22s or a soft swab I'm thinking a brush would ruin an air gun barrel but i could be wrong that's why i ask

which cleaning solution? something with silicone base?

use patches like a 22 push through until they come out clean i would suspect

when not in use do you lube the barrel slightly or no

don't mean to be a pain in the arse
id rather measure 2wice and cut once
thanks

PCP Rifle  SOLD Edgun Leshiy classic .25/.22

To clarify:

- Scope is an Sig 1-6 in Sig mount. It’s the cheaper $300ish scope.
- Bipod is made by Spartan Precision. Came on rifle so don’t know much else about it.
- Comes with .25 and .22 barrels.
- Huma and factory regulator.
- Spinning pellet dispenser.
- Digital gauge
- Crappy hard case.
- Extra O rings.
Price is 1900 OBO. Shipping and insurance is included.

Really hate to post this one but something needs to go and lately I find myself shooting this the least.

First the bad: it apparently has sprung a leak. It was sitting at around 190 BAR 3 weeks ago and now it’s at 109. It comes with extra o rings though!

Currently setup with .25 barrel but also comes with a .22 barrel. The .22 barrel has a few spots of surface rust on exterior. Im sure they would come off but I never tried.

Has a Huma regulator installed as per the previous owner and also comes with original. It also has the digital gauge installed.

Also has this fancy little pellet dispenser that is apparently hard to get 🤷‍♂️

Bipod/scope also included. Will ship in a small hard case (nothing fancy) insured.

Payment either Zelle or PP f/f. I don’t do goods and services anymore.

If interested, send me a message with your number and I’ll text back.

Would consider trade for another compact/folding style PCP plus cash to me. Straight trade would do me no good at this point. Might also consider trade towards a HW44 pistol, preferably .22.

Thanks

$1900 obo for it all.

Stoeger  Stoeger XM1 BullShark .22 (Review) Video / Regulated PCP Bullpup

This Stoeger XM1 BullShark is a great little 27 inch long regulated PCP bullpup. It gets 50+ shots per fill in .22 with 15.89gr going 935 FPS. The JSB 18.1gr goes 894 FPS. The XM1 BullShark is a winner as far as I'm concerned. Thanks for watching! -Nate

RTI  What's the Biggest Bottle Possible on a Regular Length Prophet❓

On a Regular Length Prophet I/II— What's the Biggest Bottle Possible❓

▪ Without preventing a large diameter silencer

▪ Without taking the shroud off

As I don't yet have a regular length Prophet I or II, I need to know the maximum length the bottle can have — in inches or cm.

It is highly unlikely I will buy a bottle from RTI.... — Maybe you even have a link to the AliExpress product?

Thanks, 😃

Matthias

PCP Rifle  SOLD Western Rattler 357

I'm probably going to regret this later, but I'm going to let my Rattler 357 go. I've had it since last year and have only shot it like twice. Just don't have the place to shoot it. It's basically new. I've recently got into archery and spend most of my free time shooting my bow. I'm asking 2200 shipped TYD. I'm open to offers. I've got plenty of great references on AGN. So deal with confidence. Can get better pictures later . Thanks for looking.

N/A  Utah Airguns Cleaning House (Bargains?)

Yesterday I saw the post on UA blowing out RAW HM1000x chassis models, and then I noticed that a whole load of guns had been added to their 'Sale and Used' product category pages. More than I ever recall seeing on the UA site.

A lot of the guns are listed as used, some like the RAWs mentioned above are new, others are listed as demos, and still others are listed as 'open box' (which to me means likely discounted new old stock).

Judge for yourself if you see any bargains. I thought that the Caiman X in black wood/.25 cal/Gen1 for $699 was a deal so I grabbed it.

Good luck.

Barrels  WTS 24" .177 Taipan Veteran barrel (carbon fiber sleeve)

This is a one-off 24" .177 barrel that fits a first gen Taipan Veteran.

Lothar Walther, 1:17.7 with polygonal rifling. Slightly choked.

LW blank has been sleeved up to 15mm with carbon fiber and epoxied on brass end pieces.

Muzzle end has 1/2x20 threads and breech end has standard Taipan breech block threads.

Much lighter than full steel OEM barrel. Makes a Veteran balance very differently.

The carbon fiber sleeve consists of one piece that is 19.75" and a second piece that is 2.25" (see photo).

Due to the design of the Veteran, will work with a .22 Veteran or a .177 Veteran. Vets have extended pin probes so the larger diameter of the probe never makes it to the bore, so a .22 probe can be used with this .177 barrel. Vets also have a transfer port that is separate from the barrel, allowing you to use a .22 transfer port with a .177 barrel.

Please note that if using a .22 Veteran with this barrel, short .177 projectiles tip into the large dual transfer ports and make loading more difficult. If planning on dropping this into a .22 Veteran I'd recommend projectiles at least as long as a JSB 10.34.

$150 shipped. PayPal F&F or check/money order and we wait til the funds clear.

Daystate  New experiment with the Red Wolf non HP .22 Cal.

After the extraordinary experience of my Wolverines and Delta Wolf in .25 Cal with NSA 29 and 33.5 grain slugs, I decided to try the NSA 17.5 grain on my Red Wolf .22 Cal.

This Red Woof is EXTREMLY accurate with the H&N Barracudas. I am expecting to have same good accuracy at longer distance with the NSA 17.5 grain. The .25 NSA slugs are too heavy for that rifle, but they work great with the Wolverine HP HR .22 Cal.

As soon as I receive the slugs I will try them and will share the results.

Altaros  Altaros M24 — Too ugly for the market...? 🤔

As soon as the Altaron M24 was posted in the classified, I clicked on it and wondered a loooong time, if I should buy it.

The performance for extreme long range must be amazing. 👍🏼
The Altaros slugs have been made with this gun in mind, they come from the same brand. 👍🏼

But, in the end, I did not buy it. 🤷🏻‍♂️
However, I wanted to see how quickly it sells, considering that it is hard to even get it in the US.
➠ Surprise: It's still available on the classifieds....

And I wondered if my own reason for not buying it have something to do with why it hasn't sold yet..... 🤔

✅ I like "black guns".
✅ I like "modern looking guns" 😎 — not "traditional looking guns"
✅ I like bullpups (less bulk, less weight, while same performance as traditional shape)
✅ For a significant shotcount I want to attach a bottle (in the size that suits me)

And the Altaros checks NONE of those boxes 🔲.

𑇰 ••• I remember the designer and builder talking about being an engineer that engineers things that work good* (as opposed to things that also look good).

➠ Too bad. 😞

Mora, here I come....

Matthias

PS: I hope it sells soon. It must be a gun that shoots amazingly. 👍🏼

FX  .22/600mm FX DRS Classic - a couple of stats...

I'm just getting past the break-in period (about a tin of pellets) with my .22/600mm DRS and starting to look for the best pellet. Looks like the factory tuned to an 18g pellet.

Thought I'd share the numbers for anyone curious about the stability FX DRS.

JTS 18.1g -
A 911fps
H 914
L 910
ES 4
SD 1.7
FPE 33.3
GROUP (5 shots, 40 yards) .358 CTC

AA 18.0g -
A 916
H 919
L 914
ES 6
SD 2.2
FPE 33.5
GROUP .332 CTC

JSB 18.13g -
A 917
H 921
L 915
ES 7
SD 2.7
FPE 33.8
GROUP .338 CTC

I found that my DRS groups best with a light/loose hold.

Cheers!

PA cup observations!

Ok thought I would share some of my BR observations. # 1- 5,6 yrs ago top guns shot from sighters “no flags” no need they said. Now almost all the top shot use them or read others.
# 2- almost all during that same time period only shot off bi-pods and a rear bag “if that” now most use a front rest or combination of bi-pod and rear rest to manipulate windage and elevation to a finite degree. This was not needed 5-6yrs ago according to the professionals.
#3- Note: these are just my observations and in no way dictates a winner from middle of the pack. Hell I used a rest and made the most stupid basic rookie mistake I shot 3 shots in a record bull because I didn’t drop down fully (I shoot bottom to top) and make sure I was on a sighter!!! I’ve shot both center fire BR and 25m BR so what does that say…

RAW Rapid  R.A.W. HM1000X Inconsistent Today - Indoors

I went to an indoor range for the first time today - wanted to shoot with no wind. Set up at 50 yards with N50 practice targets. After sighting in I was hitting 10's and X's for most of the first 17 shots. The next two shots were almost outside the box and number 20 scored a 5. From that point on it was literally hit or miss with another 5, then 9, a wide 5, then 10, 10. Why in the world would this happen? Speeds were consistently in the 865~870 fps range. I'm shooting a .25 caliber R.A.W HM1000X (Rapid Air Worx) in an MPA frame. By the way, pellets were FX 34 grain weighed and sorted and also AEA Center Punch 33.9 grain.

Two more things - I believe R.A.W. sends these out at about 910~920 fps which seems too fast for Diabolo pellets so I tuned it back to 870-ish fps. Any thoughts on that as well? Also, adjusting the hammer spring has almost no affect on pellet speed. I know it's used for minor adjustments but fully out to fully in barely makes a 1-2 fps difference - bad hammer spring?

TIA for comments.
