Now my GKl V1 22 caliber my safety works but the trigger will not fire...Did I mess something up setting my stricker?
Mike
I know they seem to be tricky to reset. Took me three tries. Need to push it in rather firmly. I used the end of a hex key to set it. Don't know if this is necessary, but I fired a round to complete the process. If I did a dry fire before the live fire, it undid my work! Once set, (using a live fire) it was then ok to dry fire.

My gun is going back, I tried to reset the stricker and parts went everywhere, My gun degassed very quickly, It looks like I found all the parts ..
Mike
Sorry to hear that. When you degas you should reduce pressure to reduce the violence of the degas out the back. And use a folded towel over the back to catch things. But if things are getting out of hand for you, perhaps it's best to send it for service. Then you can stop being frustrated. There's a lot of value to that.

For future reference:

One important step you neglected to do is pull the trigger while pushing in the striker. This disengages the sear and allows the striker to pass by it. If you don’t do that you’re forcing the striker passed the sear potentially damaging the sear.
I didn't realize that I needed to do that, the first two times. Then again, I didn't force things when pushing the striker. The third time, I watched the video again. Then saw Kelly's notes to pull the trigger AND reset the striker simultaneously.

The grip looks really good in my opinion.
I‘ve got some questions though, what are you using to plug the fill port?
How did you mount the grip?
And why does it say „V3.+“ on your GK1? Never seen that before

still wondering what the actual improvements are, could not find that out yet.

The v3 has a new design for the closing valve housing and the second screw on top of the reciever for all the regulated countries with lower power. Those are the two biggest differences between v1 and v3 that i know of. But his gk1 has a „V3.+“ marking, not the regular „V3“ marking. Like i said before, i‘ve never seen that.

My gk1 has a „V3-R“ marking, which would indicate that its regulated, however i have bought mine from gogun.de in germany (because im german) and they get their gk1‘s directly from huben, and they dont produce any regulated gk1‘s. Only the seller „wolfiek“ from spain sells regulated gk1‘s, but they are just a seller, and had nothing to do with mine, so im still wondering how mine ended up with that marking, because it doesnt have a regulator.

I didn't install the grip had problems with installing the shorty kit I bought from Kelly plus I had knocked the mag stop out of position. Kelly put his magic touch. Ask me if I wanted to try the new grips so I yes it and this is what I got back. Kinda reminds me of my old chrome plated llama .45.
Never noticed the V3.+ No idea lol. It looks to screw on just like the other grips. Pix with my V3 .177 & V1 .22.

The R just means its capable of lower power levels, I’ve got a R and it was only 4.5fpe when it arrived

Really? Where did you get the info from? (Just curious)
Arent the regular v3‘s also capable of low power because they also have the screw on top? I‘ve seen a lot of pictures of other gk1 v3‘s in germany which all just have the regular „V3“ marking and all are below 5,5 ft lbs

I like the gold charge port dust protector. Did you make it, or purchase?
